We all want Halo Reach for PC.
It's time you started caring about Us PC gamers who are forced to buy Xbox 360 and the games themselves. all because of Lazy Game Developers
Halo 2 Vista was a terrible port of an old game, no new features (online co-op), Not Available for Windows XP users and you expected it to fail anyway.
We see Halo Reach is feature rich, and hope to see this game for PC.
You can also improve/Upgrade it for the PC specifically,Like: 16xAA/16xAF,Very High-res Textures,Alot More Effects, ETC
It's time you paid attention to PC gamers, we want a quality game, we want to have fun.

Well lag is like 95% free when I play(ed) Halo 3. . . and on PC game servers I do find myself lag every now and then. lmao
Posted by: Ben2974 I cannot recognize as to why Servers > Matchmaking. Oh well.
Dedicated Servers >>> P2P Connection. I wish he had dedi's for the box, but instead we have to play on bad host all the time. Unless I pull host =)
Posted by: Dr Syx
Posted by: awinnik1 i've always hated matchmaking, but for those people who can't bear to click on a server, how about a "random" button in the corner that finds a server with a good amount of people and throws you in?
Quickmatch=/=Matchmaking. Matchmaking is where you go into a certain playlist/whatever categories the game has, it finds the most desirable players according ping/etc, and one person hosts the match. Quickmatch takes a few filters from you and slaps you into a random game. Matchmaking is for more than just being lazy and not feeling like searching for a match.
i don't know, it's a game... i like to play with the same group of friends a lot, keeps it fun for me. i don't really like the nameless faceless people in matchmaking, so i wouldn't know what people who DO like matchmaking would want.
Posted by: joe campbell Halo 3 PC hasn't even came out yet, Halo Reach PC won't come out for years, that is if it ever comes out.
This is true. If they have not even come out with Halo 3, I doubt they would come out with Reach before H3. Plus if they did, you have to worry about the possibility that the game will end up how Halo 2 on Vista did. Meaning how it sort of died off I guess.
Posted by: Ben2974
Posted by: I RaveN I Yeah, CE survives simply because it's not matchmaking. PC games usually have user hosts, and anyways, it's way better to be able to find a good match without matchmaking. The only real problem is ranks, which the stupid porters never put in h2v.
How so? Matchmaking is straightforward, organized, and fun. Plus we get ranked like you said. In servers you never know exactly what you're going to get (mods, weird game types, etc) and teams are almost always skewed.
It also means the game will die out faster.
Posted by: Ben2974 Well I've never played any cod games for the pc, so i guess i'm a little ignorant with the outcomes n' stuff. Servers are best, in my opinion, for customs and nothing official (as my experience tells me with Halo1, H2, BF2, and TF2)
Your experience in PC gaming must be next to nothing. You really need to stop throwing console terms like "customs" into your arguments if you want to come off as a PC gamer. "Servers are good for nothing official," as if CAL/CPL matches were never held on dedis? PC gaming is clearly another thing you don't know anything about, so it might be a good idea for you to just leave the conversation to those of us that do.
Posted by: Super PolarBear
Posted by: I RaveN I Hey, has anyone else noticed microsoft doesn't sell h2v online, but there's a page for it?
And even though there has not been a patch released in nearly 4 years (which the game desperately needs) MS states that they still support Halo 2 Vista?
that's right guys, only one more year of support! lol

Well, and now microsoft has learned about silly server restrictions for silver members, maybe they could pull off a legitimately good game.
Posted by: Ben2974 ....but I think it'd suffer the same as Halo 2 if it were to be servers and not matchmaking.
Ben's logic to making a PC game: Make it less like a PC game.
