I'm new to D2 and have picked 'Hunter: Gunslinger' to use for the majority of the time in PvE. Enjoying it so far, although I'm not quite sure which is the best option to use most of the time out of Sharpshooter or Outlaw.
I've been using Outlaw up until now, as I figured the 3 extra shots with Golden Gun are worth it, although I just noticed that the Super duration is extended with Sharpshooter, so could it be possible to have even more than 6 shots with that? Also, the damage is increased with Sharpshooter.
Which do you guys suggest for general PvE?

Sharpshooter by far

Sharpshooter without a doubt, throw on celestial nighthawk and you’re melting bosses

sharpshooter for pve outlaw for pvp

I honestly use Arcstrider but I'd have to say six-shot

I don’t really ever see a use for the 6 shooter in pve. It does less damage and doesn’t clears adds well at all.

3 RepliesWay of the sharpshooter only provides 3 shots. Outlaw is better for running around in low level activities, helping to clear ads. Sharpshooter is only useful for when you need high damage output against a boss in higher level activities like nightfalls and raids, sometimes heroic strikes. Sharpshooter enables critical hits with GG, which significantly increases damage. That damage is even better with celestial nighthawk equipped.
