Competitive suspension?
Only wanted to finish the quest where I have to play competitive matches, almost as bad as the rest of crucible since everyone goes in with their clan mates and then think they're gods. Since there's no way to clutch anything these days, what's the point of finishing? Literally my last game flew in with 1 other random guy so was 2 v 4 from the start, bungie expects people to sit there and take it? Kind of logical since we sit here and take it with the game and dlc's they sold us.

Just got put in a match, within 30s it was 3v4. we had no chance of winning so I quit out and got a warning. Fine, accept then another game immediately after started 3v4. Clearly not going to win so I left. got told my completion rate was negative so I was suspended. I can't remember the last time I quit a game, and since bungie has seen fit to put me on the losing team for about 25 of the last 30 games I've played I find this a little difficult to believe. I guess this will be just another post bungie don't give a shit about.

Bungie bungie bungie it the worst studio in PVP. The same i m ban of competitive for one disconnexion.... in every pvp game u r ban after 2 but one...and disconnect....and we dt speak of the matchmaking always alone vs team of 4...and often 3v4.... I cant finish the quest too cause im ban for have been disconnected. GG bungie D1 until 1.5 years was the best now it a very bad bad game for all pvp lovers

6 RepliesI am assuming you got a 30-minute crucible restriction for 'quitting' when you left the game? This is completely normal under the current rules, and will likely happen every time you disconnect from a game before the game ends, even if the cause is outside your control. There are good and bad points to this rule, and I personally am not sure it achieves the goal they set out for it (pretty sure it doesn't). Hopefully they re-evaluate this system and make some changes so that only repeat offenders are restricted.

2 RepliesIt pisses me off when people leave but you gotta take it. I’m glad there appear to be penalties for players doing so. If disconnected because of lag or ISP players should not be punished. Only when they voluntarily hold the Y button and depart.

I sit and take it. It's not a big deal for me. I'm definitely not the best but challenge accepted.

You mean the quest from shaxx that requires you complete two matches? Hell man, just sit down and let the match end.

7 RepliesNo one should have to stay with afk and horrible match making. Fix those 2 then implement penalty. Fix the reasons people leave.

That's kind of the point of it being competitive, plus everybody gets rewards whether they win or lose (hence why everybody gets punished if they quit regardless of the playlist). If you don't want to face tough odds and see how your skills fare or don't think you can handle competitive play, then the sensible thing is to stay out of competitive. But hey, if you had to do a quest, you got it done and that's what matters. Even if you did quit your way out of a match or two and got suspended from competitive. Doesn't sound like that matters because you weren't interested in playing more competitive anyways.

3 RepliesIf on ps4 send me a message on psn(jlboozer)...I will go in competitive with you so it won't be as horrible. Not bragging, but I'm pretty decent in pvp. However I won't be on until after I get off work this evening. Good luck bud!
