Only 50 credits!
Im having an issue with the credit system. No matter what I do (Matchmaking not included) I cant get more then 50 credits, even a campagn level on legendary only gives me 50. Any help in this matter would be greatly appriciated.

1 ReplyBeat game on heroic, around the end I finished 2-3 missions and jumped from Sgt. Grade 2 to Warrant Officer. You get plenty of Credits. Firefight custom and Forge only give roughly 50-60 I believe.

1 ReplyI honestly think it has to do with being connected to XBL. I said this twice before. I played the game before connecting to XBL and I swear I got more credits for campaign, fire fight and forge. But as soon as I played online all those went down. EDIT: Now if this is by design, I do think that it is unfair. Not everyone can afford internet or have XBL. [Edited on 09.16.2010 1:55 AM PDT]

1 ReplyI had the same problem. A friend and I played through about half the campaign and got only 50 credits. Then I tried turning on campaign scoring and I got cR for like each kill and sprees and whatnot. So now I get anywhere from 1500 to 5000 on one level on legendary. So turning on scoring seemed to solve that problem in campaign.

Not everyone can afford internet or have XBL.[/quote] Bungie said that in order for people who don't have XBL to be able to rank up as easy as people with live, when you not connected you get more credits. its not a glitch.

1 ReplyThis happens normally with custom firefight matches too. You can get a -blam!-load of medals and sprees, but they give you only 25 cR

Have you found a solution? I've unplugged XBL but it's still the same.

I create Silver XBL account, and i get 50 or less cR per game. I don't even want to play Reach right now because it will take about 6 months to rank me up from Sgt grade 1 to Sgt grade 2. Microsoft is just getting greedy. My dad won't pay for gold because he doesn't care about videogames, and I don't have enough money to pay for it myself!

I have a problem like this, my scoring is on, legendary, campaign lots of skulls on, but the only credits I get per game are 2 for each headshot kill and nothing else.

I had played online at my own house. Took my xbox to my cousins and played system link. Had it set up on fire fight for low grav, infinite ammo, custom loadouts just for fun. Played for an hour and had to stop to eat. At the end of the round we get our creds. He gets 2849 for end of game points plus 290 performance points. I only get 50 end of gam points. His 3000 to my 50 made me go WTF. So having custom games has nothin to do with it. I got boned for playing online.

Same sort of issue. When I complete Gruntpoc it used to say at the end before all your credits come up anywhere from 300-500cR. Now it's at like 230. EVERY GAME. No i don't do it more than 10 times a day but still?

See this is the same thing that is happening to all the silver accounts... 1) No one has a permanent offline account, seeing as how you need one to download console updates. 2) Bungie claimed that the offline accounts wont be penalized points so that they still have a fair chance to get the armors. 3) By just getting any type of update(for any game/the console) one automatically forfeits their offline credits without any prior warning is crap. 4)This is a major problem that should have been resolved by way of once one goes into matchmaking the first time then it considers that an online account. 5) In terms of those that were gold then went to silver then back to gold...then the last amount of "Online" credits is retained and all the extra credits get reduced to say 10% or something of the sort

1. Play longer games, I mean really look at your history. 2. Get more kills, but then that goes with playing longer.

custom are not meant to play to get credits, just for fun

go check out the Official Halo FAQ on the Halo Reach forums. read down to the credit part where they explain all about it. basically,once youve been on xbox live with ur character,youre forfeit to a 1000cR per day allowance for OFFLINE play but ONLINE play gives the normal amount. its to save people farming a tonne of points offline with mates giving them easy wins etc etc and then getting imba-rankings before going online. also,even if you farm a tonne of points before going on live,you have to activate your points and theres a limiter of 25000 odd points that youre allowed to take on live. as i said its all in the Halo FAQ on the top of the Halo : Reach forums. hope this helps!

I'm having exactly the same problem. No matter what I do i only get 50 credits max. Even a full level on legendary. I think it's really really unfair to penalise us for just wanting the FREE ARMOR bungie gave us and then be all like oh now your an online profile so you get f*** all credits for playing offline. I'm never going to be playing online because my connection is so rubbish. Come on bungie, Fix this guys.

Not everyone can afford internet or have XBL.[/quote] You get more credits while offline than online, if you play games offline only you shall get more credits as to attain level and armor more easily as opposed to someone who plays online more, but if you connect online you will have your credits reduced to the equivalent amount to an online player. I got 35 or so credits for beating the campaign on heroic, however that does not add up all the credits you earned DURING the campaign, it is just what you get for actually beating that last level, however the OP's problem might be something else seeing as my slot machine after games has not given me anything below 60 I think. (777 slot machine ftw).

If your scoring is on and you still aren't receiving credits per kill then I'm not sure what it could be?

[/quote] you if you alter any settings that happens...the mentality is "why should we give you points for running around invincible with infinite rockets", i no thats an extreme case but its true, people would do that. i just do firefight online with friends unchanged or in the matchmaking, thats always high

i just played a bit of custom firefight, 50 credits. i got about 400k score. kinda annoying that i have to play online to get credits since it's rather laggy.
