I purchased D2 along with the first two DLCs. I decline to call them expansions as I don't think they qualify.
Based on the quality of the previous DLCs in D1 I was expecting the shoddy initial release of D2 to be vastly improved upon with the release of Curse of Osiris however I and many other were disappointed. The fact we've seen very little of Warmind almost two weeks prior to launch says to me that Bungie are not very confident in it don't want to over hype it, as they have been guilty of this in the past.
It feels to me as is if Bungie knew exactly what they would be releasing and charging the amount they did for sub par content feels like I've been taken for bit of a ride.
What i fear is that a majority of the best stuff will be saved for what should be the fall expansion and that will cost as much as the original game to justify its content.
To put it another way: Imagine D2 was a 3 course set course menu that you pay for before eating, except the last two courses were deliberately shit. You'd want your money.

Edited by Tav: 4/26/2018 11:42:56 AMI've been saying the same for months. They'd already been called out for holding content back. They're doing exactly the same again now. Anything worth anything won't be released until September at which point they'll be able to charge you again. It's a scam. A very clever, calculated scam. Business in other words. They care more for the money than they do for the community. It won't change. Those days seem to be gone. My faith in Bungle has depleted to the point of no return. Their greed has got the better of them. Now they're just clutching at straws to try and regain some interest in D2. It's too late...

Even tho there is gonna be some changes, don't expect something big. Major changes needs time and most probably won't come before September.

Based on d1 dlc, we had no new areas in the dark below. So I don't understand your comparison really. Going by what the YouTube guys are saying, the warmind dlc came too soon for the major fixes. But ultimately you don't have to pay for game updates. You pay for extra content.

According to Summit feedback it's only slightly better than CoO, don't get your hopes up.

come on man you had to know nothing great would have been changed in time as the first dlc was done before the game released and the second was already being wrapped. youre not getting anything worth speaking about until september if you bother to stay the course.

3 RepliesFeels like they're going the Durandal route, I'm afraid the writers will -blam!- it hard though.
