200fps Crucible is Impossible. Bungie Throttles FPS.

I've been looking everywhere to find evidence that a player with a good build, can handle the fps power. And yet no one can hit 200fps in crucible. You look at another guardian and your frame drops to 80-90. They did the same throttling with Bright Engrams. They are doing it again. If you have a picture, video, or even your own witness testimony that you can run the crucible at higher fps, you sir are a god please share as In my discoveries I think there's something much fouler at play here, but everytime you look in the direction of battle, there seems to be an "fps limit" that halts you from looking too fast. And I have reason to believe they wanted players in the PC world to have a fair chance at least. Regardless if you are running the game from your grandma's toaster, or bill gates server farm. I need to see that evidence so that I can move on and upgrade my pc, but come on, Im running 4.0 cpu and a 1080ti. fresh windows, fresh drivers, fresh bios, everything, over clocked to the teeth, ram 3200. this shit is frustrating. And if Bungie you are at fault, I -blam!-ing hate you because I love this game so much do take the time to do all this and to find out the sleeze factor, turn any sane man into a monster.

  • Sorry a single 1080TI is not going to EVER run 200 FPS consistently. The rendering in the game alone will reduce the FPS, they are not 'throttling' you. And actually, almost NO game runs stable and consistent at 200 FPS. I'm running a tri-SLI (each card with 8GB of RAM) along with 64GB of system RAM and a CPU running 8 cores at 5.0 GHz; and I cannot hit that consistently

  • I hit 200fps in orbit, but I really doubt they throttle FPS on anything other than consoles. I don't see why they would.

  • By the way. Why do you want 200 fps? The higher refresh rate I have seen is 144 hz. So if your refresh rate is lower than your fps count you won't notice the difference because of your monitor

    • Very little in game can sustain 200fps. anything moving and rendering lowers it. I have seen streamers with SLI 1080ti that dont hold a constant 200 in any activity.
