We need a clan home base and more clan perks. Thoughts?
To have your own personal hanger or place to practice, do research, build as a clan , etc. I think this would be a great attachment. what are your thoughts?

10 RepliesI had a well thought out idea that I posted here on the forums ages ago. It was about allowing the player, through a hard end-game quest, to re-purpose the House of Winter's Ketch. The one that the player effectively OWNS after defeating the Kell of house winter way back in D1. The quest would have turned the Ketch into a mobile clan/player space. This space had a forge (created with Siva), Codex area utilising the ships pilot servitor and sealed off areas (ketch are huge ships) that could be unsealed in later DLC and expansions as new ideas and gameplay were introduced. The Lore for the sealed areas would be something simple such as the player not yet having the modifications in place to operate those areas of the ship autonomously. I envisioned a shooting range, Weapon collection/trophy room where you could arrange your exotics on dummies and then have loadouts that Ghost could pull from the Ketch during missions (out of combat obviously). Sadly I guess these are things that Bungie's own teams never seem to have the imagination for.

5 RepliesWarframe makes clans very beneficial. Their mod system is also light years ahead of Destiny 2. Bungie's approach to mods is honestly pathetic in comparison. One mod per item, and that mod makes almost no discernable improvement in the performance of the item. I also like that Warframe does not restrict you to one powerful weapon. You can have the most powerful item in every slot, unlike the 1 exotic restriction in Destiny.

2 RepliesWhen you consider the Tower has a maximum capacity of 26 or so players at a time and we still have loading in issues like; black screens and empty tower, then you look at a clan that has a maximum of 100 players in it, you can probably pick a few reasons why this idea isn't a good one.

Bungie can't even do vault space right, so you think they could handle something like that? Not.

Some games have had really cool guild halls where you could decorate and hang trophies of raid victories. But content is hard.

The main (bad) idea against stuff like guild houses/clan homes etc from the gaming point of view is that it promotes being isolated from others. (other than clan members) even though you don't really interact with people at say the Farm or whatever, it was still there to prompt social interaction among other gamers. if you could get a clan home without any amenities, most wouldn't like it. if you could get a clan home with tons of vendors/quests/daily tasks etc, then no one would go to the actual social spaces. It's a tricky slope to be on, it's mostly just what the devs want to prompt more.

Good idea but we had to fight just to get more vault space. I seriously doubt bungie would be able or even willing to add it.

We are playing destiny, not warframe. I’d prefer the games not try to blend together, that would ruin the variety. Build as a clan? *cough* raids *cough*

1 ReplySocial spaces in this game are a waste of space as they are. You merely run from vendor to vendor as you turn in engrams and tokens and then leave. The whole thing could happen while in orbit under some "vendors" tab.
