It certainly takes skill and a bit of luck to beat Prestige Nightfalls, but the score does affect the chance at Exclusive drops. It makes the Prestige mode pointless. If both could have exclusive rewards while having Prestige be the higher chance and/or with more variety of loot, it'd be great!

  • Sorry, I should have clarified. It certainly takes skill for the prestige mode. Normal to me is rather easy. I would honestly argue that prestige prestige mode should have an extra stat that makes it more useful at pve content. Like maybe doing extra damage against cabal or generating super energy when killing say Cabal.

  • Most definitely. Little perks like that can go a long way. I really just want the old system of Modifiers back, but with new ones that D2 can introduce as well. I'm aware the card system is not fully in place, but I'd rather have had the whole thing implemented as a grand package as opposed to drip feed, and that goes with just about everything in general. You really have good points on what this game needs for longevity, but I think Destiny is staying as a lite MMO. If Bungie took longer to make a Destiny game but it promised boat loads of content, I think the franchise would be successful critically as well as financially.

  • Well, they can do MMO lite and still have a boat load of content. Taken King was proof of that. Personally, I like how the weapon system is in a base line. So, I like that I dont have to farm items just to select perks and such. However, the mod system needs some work. I think people are underestimating how a small perk can really change the way the game feels. Like imagine if DFA out of prestige had an extra perk that said every Cabal Kill ups you super energy by like 2%. That would be a huge buff.
