The majority of mobs were killed in only one head shot with a Fatebringer. If you were doing 2 body shots and then a headshot, you were likely doing something wrong.
So again, if you used explosive rounds and firefly together, you would often miss out on the benefit of firefly. The only case that didn’t happen would have been the maybe one pulse rifle late in the game that could roll with those perks. And that’s simply because the individual shot damage was weaker than a handcannon.

And i know of no pulse that dropped exp rounds in d1, but please correct me if there was one

The Dragon was a pulse, no? It was either that or a scout, but I don’t recall any decent IB scouts in RoI, but maybe that’s because everyone was using the pulse.

Clever Dragon was the pulse until its nerf it was the crucible terror for awhile, but no exp on the clever. Cryptic Dragon was the scout, that had fatebringer roll plus many others in y3 one of the best scouts ever in regards to perk combos

Yup. Still got that old scout when I go back to D1 once in awhile. Was way too much fun when it was a solar modifier:)

Solar with the firefly...sad part is a lot of people dont realize it counts as solar..

I was talking about the dragon, 2 body with exp rounds and then the head would do a captain and his mob in with the firely. Point being you said itwasnt a good combo my dragon with exp ff and cc was a beastly weapon and i knew several people who loved that combo That is all
