Don’t get me wrong, I would love a new character lineup, but some of the old classes were absolutely brilliant. I know it’s unlikely, but if they ported just a couple of old classes into the new game I’d be happy. I’m mainly thinking Gaige, Athena, and Krieg here. Barring that, maybe Hammerlock. He could take the sniper role, and Aurelia could fill in as an NPC. I could see some good skill trees that would work for him: a sniping ‘hunter’ tree, a support ‘gentleman’ one, and a pistol-based ‘duelist’ one.

I'm guessing all the playable characters from 1, 2 and the pre-sequel (the ones that are still alive) will return as npcs and we'll probably get a few new characters as playable vault hunters.

I think some people in this thread forgot what happened to Roland in Borderlands 2. I personally want Tiny Tina to at least be an NPC maybe a playable character. I want all the Borderlands 2 character to come back. It won't be the same without them.

Moxxxi is pretty much a given....so is Tanis obviously. Heard rumours Mordi might be back but I'm doubtful. Either way Roland and Jack won't be. Surprise cameo from Butt Stallion perhaps?
