They don't have any Ahamkara armor. But from what I've read in the grimoire, The Vanguard hosted it. Meaning all guardians must participate.

To my understanding, I don’t believe there were definitive “classes” yet. From my memory, there was a concept art in which it showed a group of armored individuals stabbing an Ahamkara, or dragon-like creature. They all looked the same. Also, in one of the trailers for D2, Zavala was holding a spear. Obviously it’s just pure coincidence, but that means Titans could wield spears too.

1 ReplyEdited by Swiftlock: 4/16/2018 8:10:26 PMNope. According to the Grimoire, only Hunters and Warlocks killed Ahamkara. Because Warlocks are on the verge of insanity at all times and Hunters are too arrogant to be seduced by the space dragons' influence, though they hear the whispers from Ahamkara bones. Titans are more mentally vulnerable to the Ahamkara's corruption. Pretty sure Saladin was the rare exception who actually took them on.

They killed them too. It's just all the bones were broken after the Titans got to them.
-
It's implied Shaxx participated in it, I think there was some other examples I just don't remember.

Edited by Fozzie1013: 4/17/2018 3:29:14 AMIt was originally implied that the majority of Ahamkara hunting was led by Warlocks due to their more "magical" qualities. However, Hunters and Titans also got into the fray: Shaxx himself has a Ahamkara skull above him in the Tower and Hunters took the "Warlocks did the hunting" thing as a challenge.

2 Repliesthey did but where smart enough not to put the bones on Armour
save Shaxx who hung up the skull in his area
Warlocks hunted them for sport. As a test of minds. Hunters hunted them for a challenge. Even killing a young one was a big deal for a hunter apparently. Titans probably knew better than to try and mess with that stuff one on one like the warlocks and hunters. But there’s no reason a strong group of guardians wouldn’t be able to defeat one, oh reader mine.

11 RepliesYes, and the women ahamkara and the children ahamkara too!

A titan's will and discipline is made of iron. They would not be easily seduced by the ahamkara. This is why the Great Hunt involved only warlocks and hunters. Hunters killed the younglings and acted as scouts and trackers for the librarians- errr, warlocks. Unbeknownst to the floofers, hunters were also there in case a warlock was corrupted or chose not to follow through with the extinction order.

They helped, but they didn't make any armor from it.

1 ReplyThe titans of the past maybe ...... but me personally I will not have a hand in the genocide of a species based on the opinion of a minority within the vanguards & I’m dam sure that I wouldn’t be wearing there remains since what happens to people that do.

4 RepliesHm. That is true. From a Lore perspective would this suggest that Hunters and Warlocks are more susceptible to the whispers? Or are Titans less cerebral and wouldn't hear it? It's an interesting subject.

If I remember correctly only one Titan was able to kill the ahamkara and he was Saladin

They will summon you eventually.

8 RepliesEdited by WiErDScIeNcE11: 4/16/2018 6:40:59 PMThink about it, Warlocks want to unlock the mysteries of the galaxy and therefore just attracted to these things, hunters are lone wolves how often times carry a gun ( for example the Super Good Advice) or item to keep them company while they are by themselves. Titans always seem to be in a group or an order meaning that there is always a friend to keep ya sane.
Its always the warlocks or hunters that go off by themselves or are kicked out for their ideas
Edit: It’s the Super good advice not the very good advice

I have summoned you

Yeah. Everybody participated in the Great Ahamkara Hunt. That doesn’t automatically mean we have a gajillion wish granting dragon bone artifacts lying around. Also, in D1, Titans did get something Ahamkara bone related, though it wasn’t exotic armor https://www.destinypedia.com/Scales_of_Eao
