I kept getting killed by some players today shooting crazier than it should be and was wondering if I report this, how would I be able to report it? And just wondering if it would be a bannable offense.
No trolls please.

5 Repliesif it is a truely modded controller yes, they are against terms. However, controllers like scuf or ms elite that can have shorter trigger pulls are not. when in doubt report it and let SRT handle it.

8 RepliesEdited by Seraphim Crypto: 4/17/2018 5:56:41 AMIn others games that say they are yes but for Destiny 1 and 2 mods, cheats, hacks wont get you banned. Look up [REDACTED]. He's been cheatimg since D1 and Bungie doesnt care.
Ninja Edit
I've taken the liberty of removing the gaming account names of the person(s) who you stated were cheating. Please do not name and shame other Users, as this is a violation of bungie.net's Code of Conduct. Thank you.

1 ReplyIf you're talking about Scuf controllers, those are perfectly fine. If you are taking apart your controller to make it so you can fire a gun 20 times in a second instead of 10, then yes Bungie will ban you.

Hey there SirQuartz, Yes, Modded controllers are against ToS and the players using them will be banned. To report a player follow the steps provided by Bungie on this Help Article. Please Note: As other users suggested using an Xbox Elite controller or Scuf controllers are not bannable offences.

5 RepliesI don't even know what advantage modded controller provide these days over peeps using mouse/keyboard on consoles is there really an important cheat factor from it? it must revolve around scripting or macros?

I am talking xbox for this. From what I know from being an ambassador, anytime you take apart the controller, open it I mean, it is considered a modded controller and against xbox rules. Some add ons, are also against the rules. There are add ons that add buttons, and functions to a controller. The easiest way to tell if using one would be against xbox rules, is to check to see if the product is licensed by xbox. If it is not, using it would break the rules, if it is, it is perfectly okay to use it. The thing is, I know of none that are licensed. As far as xbox goes, things like this would be ban able. As far as Bungie goes, I have no idea.
