Does Rasputin control Siva
I don’t know a ton about the Warmind
I know that the replication chamber was inside of a Warmind. But does Rasputin have control over Siva or is infected by it?
Can someone clear this up please?

SIVA, is not controlled by Rasputin. SIVA is a tool, a nanotechnology. When given a directive, it will keep acting upon that directive until it’s told to stop. When the Iron Lords entered Site 6, Rasputin didn’t want SIVA or himself to fall into the City’s hands. He activated SIVA with this directive. [quote] REPLICATE. ELIMINATE. 1 ReplySIVA was never a single “entity” type deal. So if you made a batch and partitioned it out it would listen to whoever controlled that section. Colony ships all carried it under the control of the individual AI that ran the ship. We know Rasputin controlled it for sure up until the Fallen got ahold of it. Now it’s hard to say. Further some lore indicates SIVA may be growing self-aware. Though how that happened it curious.

No siva is basically a program that follows commands given to it it has no will of its own Rasputin gave a command and siva followed its programming and when the devil splicers awoke siva and became consumed they followed the orginal order given to siva consume enhance replicate

4 RepliesWarminds don't 'control' Siva. They house it as a weapon but they have no direct control over Siva once its unleashed. Siva is automated based on its programming to infect/build.

1 ReplyNo the replication chamber was not in a warmind, all we know is Rasputin did control Siva during the iron lords conflict and seemingly has not directed it since then he permitted the fallen to experiment and augment themselves with it for unknown reasons. The next expansion seems to indicate that Siva will be returning. ..

I believe each Warmind was given SIVA for colonization and helping humans. So yes.

1 ReplyRasputin, and the other Warminds, too, have control of SIVA. The Rise of Iron campaign has a cutscene where Saladin talks about how Rasputin felt threatened by the Iron Lords and killed them with SIVA as a result.

he did at one point when the iron lords attacked siva yes he did and he gave it 3 directives but after the hundreds of years siva may have created its own awarness as was hinted at by Aksis in the grimoire card of a weapon i think [spoiler]one of the raid cards cant remember which one[/spoiler] but yeah he did but now probably not
