As per title- I’ve seen the most notorious cheaters can enable a setting on Bungie net that renders their matches and activities totally hidden from the pubic.
For example
Recently played against someone twice back to back in regular crucible matches who was laggy and booted someone from the match each time. This reminded me of that very same person doing so in D1 trials and D2 trials.
Match history should be a public matter and there should be no functionality to hide that data from third party websites.
Edit:
I’ve added a photo example of what I’m talking about with all personal information removed.

1 ReplyWorking as intended. Just like with the red bar green bar thing. That was removed so we can’t see who the piece of shit is.
-
1 ReplyI don't even know how to access my matches on bungie.net, i usually use a third party source.
-
2 RepliesAs long as they brought the season pass, Bungie doesn’t give two shits
-
1 ReplySame thing they did with connection bars. If they can't see there's a problem there isn't one of course
-
Why should it be?
-
1 ReplyAt this point Bungie seem to be doing more to facilitate cheating than to remove it. It's getting rather silly now!
-
4 RepliesIam wondering why does bungie uses IPv4 and not IPv6 to protect adresses This would make things realy difficult to bounce IPv4 is way to standard and to easy to attack
-
It hides them from people being able to see their history at bungie.net Doesn't stop third party site from accessing the API and retrieving history.
-
I just wish they would stop feeding data to third parties. Players have an ego problem 3.0+ kds, 20+ Presitge Clears.
-
5 RepliesMatch history doesn’t prove cheating and isn’t hidden from Bungie. Report them and give feedback about it. You don’t need to be an investigator and the forums don’t need to be pvp stat centric. This is a privacy option. Go form your own shitty young adult totalitarian society if you think forced transparency is more important than individual privacy.
-
just a question, what does their history have to do with if you report them or not? If you suspect them of cheating, report them. You don't have to investigate them yourself.
-
Bungie supports cheaters because if someone gets booted bungie thinks they will be forced to play another match
-
They can't hide from trials report or the tracker
-
1 ReplyThe thing about Bungie is they just have no integrity in general. These are not good people we’re talking about here.
-
4 RepliesSo check them out on destinytracker. Personally, I hate Bungies data reporting and tracking. Especially to the aforementioned website, but it's their game and their data. It's the cost of playing it.
-
3 RepliesThere are other websites. Not that big of a deal.
-
1 ReplyWait, what about Destiny tracker? They can't hide it there can you?
-
agree

For example Recently played against someone twice back to back in regular crucible matches
1. Did this actually happen?
"For example" implies a hypothetical situation. "To illustrate" would be the preferred phrasing.
2. "Twice back to back" means you played them 4 times in a row. Now you're thinking, did I play them 2 times, or 4 times? Were you feeling lucky, punk?
Just busting balls...amd wanted to make a bad Dirty Harry pun...
1 ReplyOr bungie could not lie about how they ban people and actually put someone who can see straight and understands what cheating is behind that desk. As it stands they ban people who are good and play a lot, let people who hold trials matches from starting which kicks your team, and people who are just blatantly ddosing run around. Like you see a team of garbage players in trials like absolutely clueless lawn gnomes match you who have a match history of dnf after dnf on their opponents, it’s pretty clear they aren’t playing fair but nahhhhh bungie won’t ban them, have to report through Xbox otherwise nothing happens
