Far Cry 5 Companions
So who does every one like, and dislike?
Personally, my 3 favourites are:
1. Jess Black
2. Grace Armstrong
3. Nick Rye
Boomer, Cheeseburger, Hurk and Peaches are all great, but pretty situational.
Sharky is fun, but kinda useless and Adelaide just -blam!-in dies instantly.

I fast-travelled to the 8-bit Pizza place, and every companion I had unlocked at that point, including my 3 randos (except Boomer and Cheeseburger, for some reason, unless I just didn't see them) spawned in there and just hung out.

Wonky AI issues aside Jess and Grace together are my fav team so far. But peaches is a lot of fun to have around

1 ReplyBoomer is my favorite. I’ve always enjoyed having a dog companion in games like FO4 and Skyrim. The ability he has to be stealthy, and can be seen by enemies without alerting them is great. What I really like about him is the fact he scavenges a bunch more ammo and money off enemies than the player character can, even after you’ve looted them.

I find Grace to be the most useful of the three, but I usually just have Boomer active, not because I really use him for anything so much as I like it when I'm talking to someone and I can see him in the background doing dog stuff. I'm currently headed towards Cheeseburger...

2 RepliesJess so far is my favorite, but that doesn't mean mush because I only have her, Boomer and Grace. I like Jess because she's stealthy and I like playing stealth the majority of the time.

Jess Black and some other random hunter dude. He makes me completely invisible in tall grass, and lets me carry more ammo.

1 ReplyI've been running the combo of Sharky and Jess lately. It's...interesting to hear the banter between them, Sharky is kind of a weird dude it seems. I think the two favorites I have though are probably Jess and Grace. Them being able to do long range takedowns has been really helpful when I've been clearing outposts.
