There have been a few very popular threads talking about a whole community of cheaters, forum moderators keep removing them, redacting info, throwing out ban warnings. Maybe ban the cheaters instead? But hey, it's a witch hunt, it's unfounded, there's piles of evidence years deep on these guys, but of course we need to protect their privacy and be careful about making any accusations. What a joke.

They say they don't support it. This guy and his clan have been doing it for years unpunished. They support it by letting it continue.

support is obviously wrong attempt to combat an exploitable flaw in virtually all p2p hosting systems is more accurate choose the cheap route by not using dedicated servers, providing less value to players, is accurate IMHO they should use dedicated servers for as long as the playerbase is strong and then switch to p2p when it dies off too much to make sense

And how do you expect them to fix it?

Cant remove them all player numbers are at an all time low already

I know I started a post on the one infamous particular player we all know and love good ole [REDACTED] and it got moved then buried somewhere on here or even deleted. Soooo I posted it again with a few edit adds and I actually got a PM from dmg04. I sent him the best links that showed obvious cheating. Its not just a poor connection and the rapid fire mods they are using are insane, I've never seen a nameless midnight fire so fast in full auto, oh wait that's a scout rifle right? Here is the conversation I had: dmg04: Hey Grendel, Could you send a video or evidence of the cheater that you're reporting in the forums? Thank you. Grendel023: Just go to YouTube and type [REDACTED] there are a ton of videos of this guy and against people that I know are honorable streamers. He and his clan mates have been cheating for several years. I know Aztecross has a good video of him and clan mates and there are better ones too, let me see if I can find the one I saw yesterday that shows things very well. With that said, I've sent this report along to our Security team. They'll look into it, and issue a restriction or ban if evidence is found of cheating. Experienced this recently too. These guys have been doing this since d1, oftentimes. There’s some sort of rate of fire hack going around nowadays too in addition to lag switching and ddos. That’s p2p networking for you.

I am a average PvPer so I bitch, grip and say WTF a lot when I am playing. I also play with a friend that while not a god has a 1.9 or so KD, not KDA hell even my KDA is positive. But there was a match awhile back that when I started to hear him say WTF and no Fing way I knew it wasn't just me. They had side arms that fired at 1200 RPMs and you could hit them with a Fist of Panic 3 times in a row they would just walk away then turn around and kill you in .3 seconds. Later that night my friend sent me links to their stats on Destiny Tracker looks like they have been doing this for months.

How can you tell if someone is cheating or if they just have crap McDonald's wifi combined with the games shitty servers?
