Before we get into a heated discussion about how I'm a leech or whatever let's go over the figures using your mafmatix. 95.5% of the total player base since day 1 are no longer playing pve. 66.6% of the remaining are still playing pvp.
Ps. I know full well that most pvpers also pve.

so you agree this game is HOT - like the bees knees, the place to play, Cheers where everyone knows your name. So next question in this "heated debate" - prior to the release of D2, what were the numbers for D1 on a daily basis? how many PvE, How Many PvP - on average??? If you have them for last 6 months before the release of D2. Additionally, as I don't recall that far back - What were the PvE/PvP numbers during October/November 2017 for D2 or in general around that time frame? as a side note - can you open up the dreadnought by PvP play alone? What About Rise of Iron that certainly is a PvP content only situation I believe? Oh wait, wrong game. I'm not going to ask about Mercury since as long as you bought the expansion you get those PvP maps "included" no need to PvE any of it. and if you know than why post riduclousness about 2/5ths?
-
Rarara, let's drag that old deadhorse out and talk about player counts on a previous game that has nothing to do with the initial discussion, I'll take your strawman and burn it down. The issue at hand isn't how many played destiny 1 at whatever time. Bringing up past events won't save you from the fact that you're asking for 2/3rds of the players (2/5ths if you don't factor in that pvpers also pve, like I clearly stated earlier to make the math easier for dumbdumbs) to be let go. Bruhm bruhm bum bum.
-
I do so like beating a dead horse (this game). The fan boys just can't face reality. Heated Debate to ensue...... bhrum bhrum bhrum bum bum
-
Fanboy! You got me there I guess. Having bought multiple copies of d1 and paying for a few expansion passes, heck I even bought my gf a ps4 console and Rise of Iron. All in the sake of having some quality people to pve with. Those raids aren't going to do themselves.
-
ha ha, you bought a PS4 and a copy of D1 for your girlfriend to PvE raid, hmmm...... and here I thought you were arguing that Destiny was a PvP game. Maybe I am not the one that is confused.
-
You are very much confused. I never once said i was exclusively a pvp player. I play both. Pve when content is fresh and pvp for the droughts between. Been here a while kidd and the only thing that keeps the players coming back day after day is the pvp.
-
lf most of the updates seem to favour pvp then it seems reasonable to assume that that is where Bungie has seen the most profit. But hey, a company with 800+ on the payroll and not a single one of them with the business savvy of kidd here are killing there game catering to that sort of pvp nonsense. Amirite?
-
most updates seem to favour PvP at the expense of PvE. As you said yourself - PvP is for the droughts which means it can be cut. I don't come back day after day for the PvP, I come back for the story, for the strikes, for the nightfall, (pertaining to D1) for the prison/challenge of elders, and for the Raids. When I want to torture myself I join up in the crucible. It's funny though, you completely ignored my last post, not responding to it at all, yet you want to call my argument - strawman easily burnt down. So I say it again - Since I Missed The Last Destiny E-Sports Event - When Is The Next One because that is what D2 is correct a true PvP experience that is streamed, chatted, twitted, and gathered for to watch others play...... hogwash, it is for the droughts and should be washed away with in the next flood.
-
also I missed the last Destiny e-sports event - When Is The Next One????? waiting....... still waiting........
-
People!!! How about seperate loot pools for PVE AND PVP??????
