Easily the greatest set is The Crota's End Warlock set (Age od triumph) I want it back so bad. Pls, bungo!!! Second for me is the Rise of Iron Warlock set you to get from the book. (with no ornaments) I swear could you imagine Bungie made to where we could grind for an item/currency of some sort that would allow us to bring an item back from d1 to d2. I can promise people would play this game again.

1 ReplyThe Crucible gear for all classes looks pretty slick when you have the ornaments IMO. I swap between that and the Iron Banner gear. Both are some of my favorite sets in the game.

It takes shaders really well and has one of the best looking cloaks. Warlock - Iron Banner with ornaments. Actually, the IB sets for all classes look good with or without the ornaments.

3 RepliesThank God for a thread that is not all doom and gloom! Can't remember what it's called right now but the coolest piece of armour in the game as far as I'm concerned is the titan exotic chest armor with the fire inside. I got the "ornament" for that one but don't use it as it actually obscures the cool looking flames. .... Actually had to go and look it up in Destiny Item Manager - it is "Hallowfire Heart", see picture. The great things about this is that it does not actually matter what other pieces you match with this as one will be looking at that!!

Prefer the sets in D1 cause most seemed more adult, rugged, and detailed, but some D2 sets have really come around. Lots depend on shader...but... Titan - Zavala gear with ornaments, Dunemarchers, and blue geometry shader, Mercury set with Saint 14 helm and mercury blue and bronze shader Hunter - Dead Orbit set, black leather mercury bronze, with foetracer. Mercury set with Nighthawk Warlock - New Monarchy set with Mercury Blue and bronze shader with Nezarac Eververse set, no shader.

In D2: I really like my New Monarchy set on my Warlock. Overall: the Age of Triumph Crota's End sets were -blam!-in beautiful
