Personally aside from the reward system, weapon load out, and sub class skill trees, from a pve stand point the game isn't all that bad but i see what you mean. They changed too many things for the worse.

The mods they mad to the old classes was just nerfs to what we had so they could better control us . Not even A new subclass at launch . Insulting to say the least .

What's even worse is that they added the perks back but as exotics. But whats disappointing is that some of the exotic armor is based around weapons rather than subclass.
