Having been in software development for 25+ years I get it. Bugs are found and deadlines are missed. I personally appreciate you not releasing buggy software until it's ready! However, stop apologizing "for the inconvenience" - the community, in one form/opinion or another has been "inconvenienced" since the release. This does not apply to everyone but based on what I read week after week on the forums players are not happy!

While I understand your point I don't think I could handle the amount of salt there would be if they hadn't apologised. Granted salinity in this community is a pretty safe commodity to invest in but if you aren't vigilant in avoiding such a rapid intake it could lead to serious medical concerns.
