You equip it and level it up with the following: 1) 200 kills with grenades and melee 2) 7 precision kills in the crucible in less than 10 seconds with the Husk of the Pit handcannon 3) 500 points in crucible with a void equipped Husk of the Pit. Kills give you 5 points, whereas deaths take away 2 points 4) Turn in 10 blue Husk of the Pits to the weapon smith 5) obtain the Crux of Calas from Hard Mode raid 6) Kill 500 Cabal centurions with the Husk of the Pit. I suggest going to the story mission on The EDZ where ghost says, “You’ve awoken the Cabal!” 7). Obtain “Infusion of Light” from Ikora - it will cost you one mote of light or alternatively 10,000 silver Once you do the steps above, you have to finish the Exodus Crash strike on hard. Get the boss down in health but DON’T kill him until after the Fallen drop ship comes and a Fallen yellow bar Captain comes out named Xyor the Unwed. Once you kill Xyor, go ahead and kill the strike boss, Thaviks. Return to Zavala and pick up Mananan!! PS - it took me 84 hard modes to get the Crux of Calas to drop, so be patient. Oh, and the Husk of the Pit is glitched. It will only drop in the Saint 14 mission by killing a hive sword knight. You need at least 11 Husk of the pits (1 to use and 10 blue husks to turn in to the weapon smith). You can only do the Saint 14 mission one time.

One of the best guns in the game, once you get it you'll love it. I use mine all the time, almost always teamed with better devil's as it's a great combo. Get it from gunsmith tokens so save them up and before tradeing them in preview what the engram will give you so you at least know it's possible to drop. Like others have said though the blue madrudaga sr2 is virtually identical if the mananan won't drop. Good luck guardian.

Same experience here. My guess is after Season 2 it very rarely drops anymore. Few months in, 3 chars and lvl 150 gunsmith I have yet to see it. Btw it's insane that I tested Madraguda against all other power scout rifles and it does more damage lol so now I'm sporting this Blue thing until I get it. Hint: pair it with an energy recoil armor mod or 2 as it has worse stability than the Manannan Also, Corrector and Tone Patrol are not as bad now though after the update and buffs to Rampage and Dragon Fly

Once I streamed for some friends when I used over 2000 gunsmith mats to try and get that thing. Didnt get it The next day I did a strike and dismantled some shit. Gunsmith gave it to me. That and the Colony are the only memorable weapons in D2.

You have to dismantle 2 Manannan SR2 scout rifles, it's the blue version of the SR4.
