You guys (at Bungie) know what is wrong with D2, you know why player base is dropping, you know that there are things that should have been sorted before release. Let's face it you had three years of feedback during D1 right?
This 'Community Summit' is for free advertising, it's a PR thing, are you going to let streamers tell people what they really think? I doubt it, any Twitch streams that Bungie do while they cover this event will be of Deej expertly serving from the answers like a politician.
You even state that D2 is not just for content creators but for the many - perhaps you should have looked through your database at active players and invited some of those along as well making sure their views were heard too?
Lets face it, streamers make a living from this, they move with a viewing crowd and what's popular, Bungie needs streamers back to advertise their game to pull in more gamers and more money. It's all about the cash flow at the end of the day, perhaps you're worried about future content purchases from the community?
All you need to do is listen to your community, a select few is not the community, make changes that improve your product. If these forums are full of people whining and moaning about the state of play then you, Bungie, have the power to change that around.
I, like many others, love this IP - we get angry because we want it to do well, to be more than it currently is, to be the best version of itself it can be and because I want there to be a Destiny 3. It would be such a sad goodbye if Destiny just faded away into nothing, except to serve as a warning to other companies of how not to do things.

Bungie is the pimp and well you know what the streamers are.
-
See this is the shit they get when they try to do something right. Paranoid, tin foil hat wearing people. This is why they don't talk. Unbelievable.
-
Nah.. people are just not blinded, fool me once fool me twice fool me 7 times.. must be a Destiny fan..
-
I see what you did there ...

All they described was exactly what happened with D2. They invited well known twitch streamers. Sent them back to overhype D2, which they did, and Half of them left within 3 months. How is there anything conspiratorial with his statement. Take off the blinders. They know people who haven’t already bought the expansion pass will be hesitant to buy DLC 2. This is simply a tactical move by bungie to get more units sold in May.

If that's what you believe I can't stop you. But if they stop doing these things they get criticism, if they do it they get criticism. How can they win? Tell me that....
-
Just remember the goal of an argument shouldn't be to win, but to progress.
-
How to win? Easy!! 1.Be honest and stop lying!! 2. When getting caught with the pants down.. admit it and f*cking apologize.

I take it you see everything in rose tinted glasses? If you, as an individual, are happy with what you have paid for then that's great. As I have already stated I have always been a fan of this IP, but, the franchise is not where it should be. In my view a lot of aspects of the game have taken a step backwards rather than continue forward. Of course people will be paranoid of Bungie, paranoia steams from not knowing, Bungie of late have a history of not telling it's customers what it has planned - making it's community paranoid - would you be happy to buy any more products, not just from Bungie, that were unfinished and the company making vague promises to do better? From what I can see from you currently is that you reply to people's comments in a negative way. An instant jerk reaction (not calling you a jerk by the way) without proper thought or trying to see what the person commenting is trying to get across. Perhaps explain why you feel I am wrong, perhaps you have a view I have not considered yet?
