It doesn't have to compete with those games. Just have to get kids to part with thier money, and bungie is set for another year. Guardiancon is coming soon too, to be on the special guest list you have to have 75k subscribers. Up until yesterday I doubt destiny 2 would have gotten a mention there. This is not bungie learning, it's bungie marketing.
