We've invited many content creators, but we've also made sure to cover bases on things like PvE, Raids, Lore, etc.
• Some of the members who were invited to the Community Summit play Destiny 2 daily, and we're excited to hear their feedback.
• Some of the members who were invited to the Community Summit stopped playing Destiny 2 a while ago - which isn't necessarily a bad thing. We want to know why they stopped playing, and we're excited to hear their feedback.
The future is untold - we'll see how this summit goes, and make plans for the future. I can say, Cozmo and I look at these forums every single day and translate the feedback to the developers in a Bi-weekly Community Report - our main focus is not only to make Destiny 2 for the content creators, but for many types of players that enjoy the game. Whether you be a hyper-competitive Crucible player, a Raid sherpa, a 4-hour-a-week player, or someone who's just here for the story, we're doing our part to collect your thoughts - and get them in front of the people working on the future of Destiny 2.

Bring back titan skate and twilight garrison. I won’t take no for an answer.

Edited by Demon_XXVII: 4/10/2018 4:24:23 AMGive us something substantial to do in PvE ....long lasting, slow burning Heck, we will even go searching after the missing lore and all the ghosts lost during the Ghaul Grievance Dredge the shallow waters of D2 (not that we 'can go there' - the Shores of EDZ are a cruel mistress)....lets dig more depth Guardians, ditch the armbands, Grab a shovel!

So who from the Lore lovers has been invited? Can we, the community that watches streamers and tubers, have a look at the invitees to ensure there is this adequate representation of each group?
-
Honestly, I don't think lore is as big of an issue. If they wanna fix the game right now, they have to focus on gameplay. Not that I'm saying the lore community can't give that kind of feedback.
-
As someone who will not be attending the summit unfortunately :)...just add the sleeper and the three exotic swords in please.
We want to know why they stopped playing, and we're excited to hear their feedback.
It's pretty simple, really. The loot in your loot based game is terrible. With bad loot that nobody cares about, there's isn't much to talk about. You made armor completely meaningless, so there's no need to create content about builds. With a fixed number of mundane weapons, that feel largely the same, there's no point to create videos on them. You have given us a whopping two choices on skill tree configurations, so why would anyone feel the need to talk about a strategy for it? All of this has created a very dull and boring game. Who wants to watch streams on that? Nobody.

-
we're excited to hear their feedback
Oh, really? Then why were no lore experts invited? Because that slime you call a writing team can't handle it? COME ON GUYS!!
-
I don't think this is a matter of lore feedback. I think it's more about gameplay feedback
-
No one who represents destiny lore was invited
-
So, you are gonna let a handful of people dictate what the entire community wants.....people who've stopped playing....people who's main focus was crucible. Just admit it: the gathering is to find out how to best improve your dying crucible. You will listen with closed ears on pve content. Remember when yall gave us emblems when we were asking for more gear and weapons? Yall listen as well as an old grandpa with his hearing aid turned off.

Damage Control 4

Almost all the YouTubers made videos why they abandoned destiny 2. If Bungie wanted their feedback simply watch their videos! Instead invite players who are still playing your shi*tty game.
-
Completely agree.
-
Excuse me. My invite didn't come. Did you mail it or was it an einvite. I should check my spam filter. Resend it, ya?
-
Remember wotm raid, having to get the monitors...working out binary...who stood where etc. The excitement when that red diamond opened....then helping your friends get it? Remember the chaos of the final boss fight to get the Black Spindle... Remember doing the strike for Thorn, when you had to wait for the final ship to kill the yellow bar chap?? We need more of these!
-
Raids are not an issue. PvE(patrol activities mainly) and lore need a massive boost to the frontline.
-
If you want to know why streamers have stopped playing this game..how about you guys instead read the forums and check that out instead Really don't think you guys sit down and read these forums, to be honest
-
Who the hell is representing the lore community? Quit lying.
-
So some reserach. Byf will be there.
-
For the sake of transparency, I'm not going to the Bungie Player conference. I'll be cheering on my fellow content creators who do go. May they make the game better!
That quote is from byf Twitter account. Maybe you should have done some research.

Info changed. He originally said he was coming
-
When?
-
A couple days ago we were told he was coming, scroll down some posts in this thread
-
Be honest, you’re all just gonna toke up and not even talk about D2. Bungie’s just gonna hope that a bunch of free weed is enough to get streamers to hype the DLC without asking.
