Rules: Let's Keep this fun and maybe constructive by only posting actual game modes that we think would be cool for D2 that have not been included in the playset of any Destiny game up to this point. The goal is to actually have a constructive "what if" conversation with members of the community and let the develop see the kinds of ideas that we would enjoy. If you like the idea, upvote it!

My first idea:
A Hoard Mode I would call SURVIVALIST
How it works - two teams of six players spread out on a large map searching for a cache of weapons. There are two weapons caches hidden on the map. The first team to find a chest has the a mathematical chance of having a better weapon load out. Load outs are randomized and the guardians will automatically spawn a kinetic and energy weapon with limited ammo (two clips worth).
The two guardian teams fight each other, ammo does not renew. However, you can pick up a fallen guardian's weapon and remaining ammo. When they fall, bricks of that ammo spawn next to their body with the number of rounds of each. One Heavy Ammo round spawns next to each fallen guardian as well.
Play continues until one team is eliminated or time runs out. In the event that all ammo is used, the mode goes into instead death where it is supers only, with supers, grenades, and melees respawning at the same rate they spawn in Mayhem.

PvP Mode: Target Practice Destroy the Targets earn the most points to win there’s a larger targets for less points and smaller targets for more points 3-5 minute timer on the clock and whoever sees the random locations of the targets and manages to shoot them wins There would be different shooting ranges you can spawn into with fun, scary, or nostalgic themes L=1 point M=2 points S= 3 points Fasting moving M= 3 points Fast moving S= 5 points Golden Target at the end= 10 points OR A page from Splatoon- Rainmaker One Guardian has a super powerful weapon that has a 8 second cooldown between each one shit kill potential shot (Aim Assist cranked high) The other members of your team of 4 have to escort you to the enemy base to dunk the Power Weapon When the main Guardian dies with the power weapon you have to secure it by control a brief capture the zone point near the power weapon to pick it up with a 2 second hold Square/X button. The Power Weapon has infinite ammo and expires after 60 seconds of holding and turning around to the spawn will give a warning and will automatically be dropped if continued so the only way it forward (from the middle of the map) This Power Weapon will be a Golden Crossbow (idrk maybe this is where you guys think of it lol)
