What would give you the impression that she is trying to rid the Hive of the Worms? Remember that every Hive you kill in D2 with a precision kill a Worm larvae or even two will pop out. The Worms are still present.

  • Yep, has to be a precision kill. Those same little Worms we saw on the Dreadnought will pop out and die a second or two later. Quite satisfying actually.

  • For now, but there’s a few scannables saying that the eggs the worms grow in are being heavily modified. It gives the impression Savathûn is trying to change them Plus she’s the god of mischief and trickery so this would be right up her alley

  • Modifying and changing doesn't mean getting rid of them. I would assume she might be trying to improve them and her minions instead. Stronger minions means more victory, more victory means more tribute. I mean if you notice, the Hive that we fight look much different than the Hive of D1. There's alot more of that organic bone armor on their units, Knights are more ornate, etc.
