You never said anything about making money from it.
But think about it. How do they do that? Lore Masters need deep lore to make videos about. Would you complain about having deep lore? Raid Sherpas need Raids that people want to play to make money from that. Would you complain about having better Raids? PvP streamers want fun gameplay that is also fun to watch. Would you complain about a more exciting Crucible? No-lifers want things to grind, good gear to chase, real quests to follow. Would you complain about having more things to do?
We ALL have a vested interest to make the game how we want, so your statement above applies to everyone who was hoping for a good sequel, not just content creators.

Now that is my bad. I meant my other response to your other comment. Sorry for the confusion. I am not complaining about Lore Masters. They produced great content and other than perhaps asking for more in game lore I do not recall them asking for change. The streamers I am specifically referencing are those specialising in PvP and I agree that I should have been clearer about this. We all want a more exciting Crucible but the reason we have a dull one is in the interests of balance. That balance was achieved at the expense of PvE which directly affected the PVE streamers. I do hold PvP streamers and their followers directly responsible for what we have in D2.

I still don't quite share the view here. Sure, PvP streamers want fun, balanced Crucible, but it's Bungie's job to make the right decisions on the design of the game. People can ask all they want, but the bottom line is that what we have today is what Bungie decided to give us.
