They also have a vested interest in making the game to their requirements.

  • As stated above. We all do. Read the whole thing next time.

  • I don’t know why you assume that I didn’t read the whole thing. It was as a direct result of Streamers, and their followers, demands that we ended up with a bland, nerfed version of Destiny in Destiny 2. They then produce videos etc bemoaning the fact that D2 is not quite what they thought that they wished for and they can no longer make a living off of it. The only slight respect I have is for those individuals who have stuck around and didn’t abandon the sinking ship. As for the others, good riddance. I have no interest in their opinions on the game. There has been far more excellent feedback given by individuals on this forum, and no doubt Reddit, who are not influenced by their need to make money from D2. I have read detailed suggestions, some of which I disagree with but whose merit I can recognise. Bungie would do well to look at that feedback

  • Don't act like these forums, full of the average players, weren't also a breeding ground for nerf posts and complaints. They most definitely were.

  • Of course they were, but in amongst the dross there were people who regularly posted some of the best feedback possible. I no longer see the majority of them posting which is a great shame. Even those with whom I vehemently disagreed produced suggestions of merit. I would much rather Bungie listened to them than Streamers

  • I fully understand that, and I agree they should be looking at those deep feedback posts that used to be so prevalent. But that doesn't mean they shouldn't also listen to the content creators, and this invitation doesn't mean they're ONLY listening to them. The only logical reason for the complaint behind this situation is that you (or OP) didn't personally get invited. You don't know what they have planned, you don't know if they will invite average players later (which they did for the D2 reveal, invited content creators, then a week later they invited people from the forums).

  • Oh please, I am not amongst those people who posted great feedback, and I couldn’t care less about not getting an invite as I certainly wouldn’t deserve one. A free trip would be nice of course. I have no idea who these ‘ordinary’ gamers were that they invited to the Reveal, except for perhaps two people I won’t mention. Wasn’t that the reveal where they said we were playing an old build which turned out to be the actual build. A reveal is also a little late in the day if they want to alter stuff isn’t it.

  • I don't know who all was invited, but there was a flurry of posts from forum users that got invited. One I know for sure was AnonPig, a lore enthusiast. Yes, a reveal is different, but it definitely shows they are not completely closed to the idea of direct interaction with the average player.
