There is a Destiny 2 Summit April 19-20 at Bungie. Bungie has invited a few of the top names in the Destiny community, some who don't even play the game much or have moved on completely.
Rather than continuing to listen to the ones who play the game daily/weekly, Bungie's summit is going to include names that don't even play anymore.
Once again, if you're not a streamer or content creator, Bungie places you low on the totem pole.

It’s the same people that praised Bungie and said the base game was flawless and CoO was perfect. So of course they’re inviting them back out to see the new updates. They’re paid sheep that will bring their followers back into the game temporarily.
-
I agree! It just amazes me how they continuously pat themselves on the back every week in their TWAB. I am absolutely not satisfied with the amount I spent last summer on the game only to still have an unfinished product almost year later! But hey you continue to grow the game as you see fit BUNGIE!!!!

I know because listening to them is why D2 is such trash so obviously they will know how to fix it.

Edited by garg'o'doom: 4/7/2018 5:57:45 PMSo they invited all of the streamers from the last 2 invites and made glowing reviews already. Not holding my breath on this one no matter how much better the live team has been than Luke's group.
-
LOL They even lied again. No one from the lore community was invited until people started calling them out on it. This just goes to show that the summit is another PR stunt. https://youtu.be/06J54tshWHY

Bungie has shown the mentality of “Its our way or forget it” .... So I’m forgetting Bungie..... I still have some salt and that why im here.
-
It's a fake meeting to get them to come out and create hype for the next DLC. 4 years of feedback since D1. I doubt they will hear anything new in regards to fixing the game.
-
These same streamers and content creators said destiny 2 was a masterpiece...
-
The people who bungie invited are d1 veterans and it can only improve d2.
-
Madness, they are not representing the player base. They are like the top guys in a clan who don’t realise they’ve become elitist over time...... they become ‘different’ and their views are generally based around improving their own game at the top end.
-
This should finish the game off.... Jack wads...
-
I don't play this game anymore, but at the same time, i'm also an adult that doesn't watch streamers aka online panhandlers. They should definitely listen to the common man on this though.
-
They said lore but yet not one of the biggest lore content creators have been asked lol
-
So invite the random scrubs in raids that didn't know Aksis challenge? 👍Solid logic.
Doesn't matter who they invite, it'll never be good enough for people here.
-
People still stream this game? Not trying to be funny. Just asking. All the ones I used to watch don't touch Destiny anymore
-
I'll say this again.......WE CAN ALL THANK YOUTUBE PVP SWEATS AND THE E-SPORT PIPE DREAM FOR THIS
-
This forum is for “common players” to have their say every day. You want Bungie to hear from the “common player” let’s hear it right now. You don’t have to wait until the end of April to tell us. So what’s your grand plan to fix D2? Honestly 90% of the posts you see here are just people regurgitating what they heard some youtuber say anyway.
-
Edited by Househ0ld item: 4/7/2018 5:05:51 PMIt doesn't matter what anyoine says as Bungie have their "Road map" planned and all they want is more money for bringing back all what they have removed. This is just to get these streamers back onside so they start making videos about upcoming DLC.
-
Does anyone else still play the travesty that is Destiny 2?
-
Streamers and content creators act in their own best interest which is often not the best interest of the players. Once again Bungie is screwing the pooch.
-
Just because they got invited instead of you doesn't mean they don't listen to forum feedback. Can't honestly expect them to invite every Joe and John playing to the summit?
-
Good. Keep the common players out of this. All they do is whine on the forums and crucify bungie whenever they offer a fix.
inb4 reeeeee bungie promised us reeeeeeeee
-
The "common people" can only come up with two-word feedback posts that don't solve anything to rally behind. At least streamers like Datto know how to articulate a thought.
-
here's another example of the community not knowing what they want or how to express their wants. the "common" destiny player fell off months ago. common players are casual. they're part of the 75% that didn't rank up to Vanguard 3 on D1. they're the part of the 83% that didn't fully level 1 subclass. they're the 80% that never completed a raid. i bet these "content creators" explored the game in and out. but yeah, let's get a bunch of casuals asking for "random rolls" on our shit perks instead of new ones. or the guys that want "strikes specific loot" when they mean weapons/armor. no thanks. at least the streamers put thought into what they ask because they have an audience that depends on them to influence the game in a positive way instead of a way that just fills their own needs.
-
They have to try and get a community going again and sadly their only chance in hell Is to get a boatload of streamers on board ... Sigh
-
I know Mesa Sean is going. Is Byf? Those are the only guys I really trust and respect. I am convinced that a lot of these game's issues were caused by Bungie listening too much to streamers and ignoring the rest of us. And now they're doing it again.
