This Nightfall Exotic Ghost is straight offensive.
It has the perks of a legendary shell. Bungie delayed strike specific loot for this? What in the hell is going on at this studio? Calling this powerful loot worth grinding Nightfalls over and over is insulting. I'm sad, angry and extremely frustrated with Bungie. This studio is becoming pathetic.

1 ReplyHonestly, most RNG based loot, whether it be guns or ghost shells, has started to lose its appeal to me. It used to be exciting to get that drop, but now it just seems like a bit of forced manipulation (run on this hamster wheel until we say you can stop). As for the ghost, people cried they wanted this stuff out of Eververse and "earned" in the game. Bungie complied. Agree the perks are underwhelming but whatever...

They told us we would get powerful and amazing loot. And we get a ghost shell with sh!t perks... [u]and[/u] no other weapons or armor. Kind of insulting that they think we would attempt that.

The cosmetic loot that this community staged a -blam!-ING riot over on this Forum during the Christmas holiday when they were "locked behind the Eververse paywall". We demanded that Bungie take them out, and "put them in the game" for us to earn. Bungie gives us what we want. They give us an exotic ghost shell as a BONUS award for completing the NF. Are we happy? No..... Now we just start complaining that THIS isn't good enough either. Seriously people. Seriously. I'm starting to think that some of you will never stop complaining, no matter what Bungie does.

There is nothing in this game worth having or chasing because its all balanced middle of the road stuff because if they stray from that path they will make their jobs more complicated by having to nerf or buff stuff when people start complaining. Lets face it when Deej said we were going to have some sweet sweet loot and it came out as two tokens and a blue, it summed the game up perfectly.

The game is flawed at its core value system and the Devs aren't willing to put in the work to replace that system. Too many Devs are probably moving into D3 but what they fail to realize is there is no Destiny without the community, we as a community can overlook re-skins because cosmetics don't win gun fights ITS THE PERKS THAT WE HATE. The fact that you have made your weapons and armor impotent and decrepit for fear of the game being "UNBALANCED" is unacceptable. But another thing you fail to realize that you guys are about to BALANCE yourselves right out of your community's patience and long-suffering. I am not bashing you Devs but i'm being very blunt in hopes you guys wake-up out of this death spinning nose dive before you jet smashes into the ground. You guys are loosing altitude quickly. (P.S is it to late to hire portions of the old team back those guys seemed to think more like the community. I just want Destiny and Bungie to Be an Amazing franchise that i can brag on again.

They should have had weapons and armor or cosmetics with every strike to begin with. It seems they can’t get anything right. I mean they delayed the loot and said “this will give the artist more time to make the loot awesome” or something like that. My question is: How awful and stupid did the loot look when they said it was delayed?

The ghost shell is just dreadful, if they wanted to make the loot unique they could've just turned protheon's gun into a player weapon which works similar to hard light with multiple modes (classed as an energy sub-machine gun in inventory, functions as arc smg, solar "flame cannon" and void grenade launcher)

First and foremost I feel like that what he got was pretty much like "exclusive strike loot, which is not themed btw" where you need to wait for a certain strike to be the Nightfall. Maybe what I was expecting at this point is wishful thinking, but when I first heard about the Nightfall loot, I thought about a complete set of armor with significant mods tied to the strikes (like the mods they did for the raid) and I even wouldn't mind If the armor set would be a reskin at this point as long as the mods (aka "exclusive strike perk") would change how you can play the strikes. Also I was kinda expecting a set of cool weapons, but at this point I won't say anything else about how cool they could make NF weapons. Finally I would like to say that tying the rewards to strikes that are rotating in the NF is not the way to go, leave that for Heroic Strikes. I would rather have a set of cool weapons and a dedicated armor set for the NF strike playlist that can drop randomly at which Nightfall (up to 1 per character per week, by other words up to 3 rewards per week, 1 at which character) and is not tied at a certain NF, which you would need to wait like a month/month and a half to appear in the rotation. There should be more weapons in the NF loot pool or random perks, but I don't have a problem with them adding ghosts, sparrows, etc to the NF loot pool. Maybe next time they can think of some special perk like drops dust when completing NF's. Something that might make it worth chasing.

They needed an extra month for this? I've already gone past the point of thinking Bungie are intentionally trying to kill their game. This is just a train crash that happened months ago that's just been left to rust and wither away.
