This is just a theory and unfortunately I can't test it out because I don't have a PC.
But Titan skating looks a hell of a lot faster on PC than console and I think it's down to the uncapped frame rate on a PC.
If there is a friendly Guardian out there that wouldn't mind testing out Titan skating on a PC once at 60 FPS then at 30 FPS in the name of science I would appreciate it.

The game does perform weirdly different on pc in some ways. Titan skating is only possible on pc for example. It’s often been said weapon accuracy is bugged on consoles etc FYI seem to recall vicarious visions or some other studio doing the pc port.

The only ludicrously fast Titan skating I’ve seen is due to the jump being mapped to the scroll button thing.

There is no skating on console unless said player has a XIM 4 or a modded controller. If framerate affected it, then why was it possible in D1 at only 30 FPS with a controller? It's the input device.

3 RepliesIt's not fully reliant on their FPS as it is the FoV. Most PC players use a wider FoV which, in 3rd person, makes your character appear further away. That gives the illusion of a faster speed.
