Black spindle drops from Crota’s end Challenges
I am not lying. My friend yesterday literally got it from Crota end. That was never announced or confirmed but I swear on the fact D1 is better then D2 that he got black spindle from the Crota end challenges. Specifically the Deathsinger one.

1 ReplyThey replaced Black Hammer with Black Spindle when they brought out the weekly raid challenges in yr3. Spindle's just a neutered version of the OG Black Hammer.

Black Spindle can drop from the Deathsinger encounter period. It doesn't even have to be challenge. It replaces the Black Hammer in the loot pool, which wasn't brought forward with the other Crota weapons, because it's the exact same weapon as Spindle.
