Cabbage error on pc version of Destiny 2 with Technicolor TG582n router

Cabbage error on pc version of Destiny 2 with Technicolor TG582n router even with settings as standard profile on firewall, Use UPnP Yes,Use Extended Security no,game mode yes. why on earth do I get this disconnect error every time I go into the cave on poor reception mission. I cannot progress in the game at all because of this. please help to fix as there must be many paying customers using routers similar to mine and no other companies games have I had these kind of disconnect issues with.

  • Technicolor routers are an issue because they block a certain port that D2 requires. I have seen some people say their ISP has a firmware update that will alleviate this issue, so you may want to speak to your ISP regarding this. If they don’t have the update, see if they can provide you with a different brand router (not Technicolor or Thomson).

    • As dcbaseball says below Technicolor (as well as Thomson) brands are known to cause trouble with D2. Below are 2 links to help you (and you may also need your ISP’s assistance) to resolve this issue. https://www.bungie.net/Mobi/en/About/Article?id=46243 https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/231008613?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=0
