The level 40 character boost question...
Hey guys, so, after playing destiny 2 to death I’ve maxed out and I’m now bored of it until next expansion is released. I’ve never played Destiny 1 so I bought the Destiny the collection which includes the lvl 40 character boost. My question is: will jumping to a level 40 account for my first playthrough ruin the game for me? Will everything scale to my level. Thank you in advance

I think the spark decrease's the new players overall experience...the only way to gain proper know-how of the game is to just play it naturally re vanilla - The Dark below - House of Wolves - The taken King & then Rise of Iron.

I would recommend just playing normally and not using it on your first character.

The Spark will make you level 40 and give you a full set of blue 280 light weapons and armor. It will NOT upgrade your any of your skill trees whatsoever, so there's that to consider.
