Being primarily a Defender in D1 I miss my ward of dawn :(
The Sentinel guy is cool and all and I enjoy it but the Ward of Dawn is just sooooo useless now I have only used it once in the few months I've been playing.
It has always been a staple of the game and featured in many cut scenes and marketing material even in D2 opening when the tower gets attacked and later when you revisit it. The Ward changes the whole dynamic of any activity your playing similar to the Hunter's Tether, oh boy they were in high demand back in D1. Factor in the buffs everything is getting soon and it's gonna be even more useless.
Here is an idea, assuming it can't be added to the subclass... nobody can argue how good the hunter exotics are and how bad the Titan ones are in general. SO why not bring the Weapons and Blessing of light back in the form of a new exotic?
EDIT: whitehammer556 suggested adding WoL and BoL as a perk on the Helm of Saint-14. I like it. Simple, easy to implement and would make both usable again.
Are you using the Ward of Dawn? How? Do you also miss its glory days?

3 RepliesThey built it around you having 2 'okay' supers basically. You can defend or attack really well situationally depending, with Sentinel top tree. I think it has a really good neutral game. Not saying that it can't be improved, I just dont have any good ideas. Warlock rifts kinda took the spot of Weapons and Blessings in D2... so I doubt it will be brought back. Also, boss smash/stomp attacks don't send you flying away while you're in WoD. Step 1: Bubble up at his feet. Step 2: invite arcstripper in said bubble to have a dance with boss. Step 3: Be showered in mediocre loot!! wait what?...
Hunter main here and I love playing Sentinel top tree!
