Is Sunbracers a Good Dawnblade Exotic?
Hi I main Titan but I am working on my Warlock. Should I stick with Dawnblade/Sunbracers or no?

It's pretty much the only good exotic for Dawnblade. Just wish they hadn't taken away the second Solar Grenade charge.

3 RepliesI personally find that the best exotic is the ophidian aspect* I probably spelt that wrong*, due to the instant ammo reload, and extended meme range. Plus it's not subclass specific. Best subclass one in my opinion is the nazeraks sin, combined that with void weapons and voidwalker you can have up to 3 supers in a crucible match, and to many novabombs in a strike or raid

Sunbracers are great for Dawnblade. I prefer Ophidian personally and they're not specific to a sub class. Eye of another world is another great exotic for warlocks.

5 RepliesEdited by jlboozer: 3/22/2018 3:42:14 PMOphidian Aspect>Every other warlock exotic...I've mained a warlock since D1 btw. I would also suggest switching to a devour voidwalker and learn how to blink. You will be unstoppable, especially if pvp is your focus.

Dawnblade is my least favorite of all the subclasses in the game, but I use them when I do equip it. If you use Void energy weapons, Nezarecs Sin recharges all abilities on void damage. Super quick on a Voidwalker build. I use Ophidian Aspects though. Love me some ready/reload speed.

6 Replies"When one can wield the fire of stars, what use is flesh and bone?" I love that text for Sunbreakers/Sunbracers. If you haven't already, read the lore. It's really funny Yes, Sunbracers are a very good Exotic. If you run it with Attunement of Sky and get used to the aerial combat you can get grenades back very quickly. Also, be sure to melee an enemy whenever your ability is available and after a grenade toss. If you want another fun way to play Dawnblade, try out Wings of Sacred Dawn in PvE. I'd recommend at least one auto rifle and a rocket launcher. It's also fun to try out with a hand cannon.

Solar grenades are pretty good in PvE and PvP, Sunbraces improve them further AND regen melees quicker Combine that with Dawnblade getting some nice buffs after next Tues 26 March sandbox update AND grenade and melee recharge going up and Dawnblade with Sunbracers is a good build, much better than Void/Skull Of Dire... which is only useful when that super is launched in giving additional protection, but has almost been rendered obsolete by Master-works armor

3 RepliesI would use the eye of another world exotic helmet for the Dawnblade sub class,if I was you. As it reduces the cool down on your character's grenade, melee and class ability, combine this with two solar grenade mods and you could also use two melee or class ability mods, depending on whether you favour punching things or using the rift ability.

They are very good. The extra solar grenade duration is most beneficial both PvE sand PvP. If (when) using the top branch of perks, bear in mind [i]all[/i] kills while airborne reduce Grenade cooldown-- including grenade and melee kills. Plus the Sunbracers will give you about half your grenade charge when you punch a guy with a charged melee. Stick to the air, and you'll almost always have a Grenade. Just keep an SMG, sidearm, or hand cannon for the in air Accuracy.

Don't forget Storm caller with either; Eye of another world or Vesper of Radius, using the Arc soul rift ability the robes can work well.
