Go jump in some heroic strikes: solar burn and specialist. Make sure you remember to pick out armor perks that give you more ammo/increase reload/increase super charge/increased agility per melee kill/increased recovery per grenade kill, reduced incoming solar burn damage, etc etc. Break out your Invectives, Ice Breakers, Zen Meteors, Lord of Wolves, your max discipline, double solar nades/Viking Funeral self-res Sunsingers, your Twilight Garrison/Melting Point/Chaperone Titans dumping shotgun shells into strike bosses' heads, Combustion Golden Guns or Nighthawks, etc. etc. Then go play some no modifier having heroic strikes in D2 with double primaries and no armor perks, only like three power weapons (sins, curtain call or wardcliff) unless you wanna intentionally do less DPS, compare which is more fun and WHY, and then apply that knowledge to what the PVE crowd is looking for in D2. Oh and remember to watch out for Hobgoblins and Taken vandals lmao

Man, that sounds fun but I actually switched to PS4 (bought the D2 bundle to play with friends) and my roommate moved out with the Xbox and my old guardian :( would have to buy D1 all over again...I had almost EVERYTHING! Agh!

What you are referring to in the post qualifies as "fun". Persuant to the Destiny 2 user agreement, all things classified as "fun" will be removed from the game immediately, or barring that nerfed until a point when it no longer qualifies as "fun". Thank you for your patronage, and please stop by our eververse gift shop on your way out.

the raid fusion is really good this week on top of your grenade heavy builds. in solar of course. i finally got the black spindle and have been trashing tanks and bosses. joined at the boss on the iron chef prince malok strike, got to the back area, and promptly removed the remaining half of their healthbar.

Brilliant, spot on commentary. Exactly what is missing from the boring as hell non-Heroic Strikes of D2.

2 RepliesI just might log into D1 today!! Thanks for the heads up. I have been wanting to play some D1 for a while now and this is the ticket to get me back for a bit of nostalgia.

3 RepliesNo modfiers -> no incentive -> no fun -> no point -> xbox out of window

You mean to say they are actually fun in D1? That is not Bungle's vision for Destiny 2.

1 ReplyBungies preparing for bankruptcy no time to play

You think Bungie devs play their own game!?
HA!
-
Yes exactly! The modifiers were so good because they gave you a criteria for play and you could attempt that challenge with ANY combination of weapons that meet that criteria. There was a challenge but also a choice. This locked in load outs challenge for prestige raids is garbage and it will do nothing but hurt the raid. Not that there’s any reason to do the prestige raid

Lord of the Wolves for me. Ran a strike with randoms and melted Malok before the first blights came in.

In d1 pve You feel so powerful
