Very important for me personally. I would definitely return playing if they brought back the D1 weapon slot system.

No, not at all actually. I did not play shotty very often. I loved snipers and fusions and I also loved the adrenaline of knowing that one false decision could end up getting one-shotted e.g. by a shotgun melee warlock. This is what made pvp and especially trials fun for me personally.

Well, Warlock also definitely had weaknesses compensating for the strong melee. However, this thread is about the weapon slot system and not about D1 warlock melee. Since, as you already said, they removed the D1 warlock melee range advantage in D2, there would not be any problems having shottys, snipers and fusions back in the secondary slot, right? :)

Firs warlocks in d1 had no weakness As for shoty and sniper returning in d2 no because titans have an exotic that gives them thunderstrike with amplitude and warlocks have one that gives them more melee range not the same as d1 at least but having quickdraw on all 3 subclasses would be unfair for other classes and hunter have an exotic that gives them extra slide making them with shotgun pretty op But if neither of these exotic existed sure the weapons system from d1 would not be a bad idea but bungie will have to titans baricade because a titan with rally baricade will make them op with snipers
