All that's really left to do........
After not logging in to Destiny for the last 4 months and reading about how D2 continues to languish, I feel the only thing left to do is sit and talk about how great Destiny used to be.
Edit: Trolling the forums is endgame level now apparently, so there's that.
Edit 2: Deleting D2 to make room for better games. Another "to do".
Edit 3: I wasn't aware the YouTubers were already talking about how great D1 was, and how EVERYONE is abandoning D2.
Has everyone seen Spaceballs? At the end when Colonel Sanders hits the alarms and starts yelling "abandon ship", that's what every single recently posted Destiny streamer video sounds like.

39 RepliesConsidering you haven't played since November of 2017 and all your characters are still 305 means mommy and daddy didn't buy you the DLC so there is still more to do. I doubt you have all exotics especially since you are one of those that tried to power level to end game with 2 warlocks. So now you want to be a baby and cry that there is nothing to do on the forums. Here's the best advice anyone could give you. Stop crying, ask mommy and daddy to buy you the DLC, or just quit playing completely. Dont cry that there's nothing to do when you are just a casual with the base game.

5 RepliesHave you finished a prestige raid? Gotten prestige raid armor? Done challenge modes in the raid? Have you gotten legend of acrius? Have you gotten sagira's ghost shell? Have you gotten every exotic in the game? Have you finished prestige nightfall? Have you gotten a full set of iron banner gear? Trials gear? I bet you haven't done most of these. The problem isn't a lack of content, it's a lack of rewards for doing the content.

yep - I have D2 deleted months ago, but D1 is still installed. Nothing like the feel and sound of a Hawkmoon.

11 RepliesAnd what was so great about D1? In reality, it was just as bad a game as D2 in Y1. Server problems, not enough content, no reason to play, etc etc. Go back and look at some of the forum posts from back when D1 came out. Everyone is complaining about the stuff that they are complaining about now. “My friends list is empty!” “No reason to play!” Really this entire franchise has been a mess. I have no reason to believe D1 was so great! I really loved the game, but if you think about it, it really wasn’t good.

I mean I still got several things left [i]to do[/i] it's just that doing them is pretty monotonous and uninspiring. Like I've been working towards Perfect Paradox because I think lore wise that shit is awesome. Then I get to the next step and it's all, "Go grab some more Radioloran Thumbnails to stuff in this Rubix Cube"... and it's off to trudge through the same shit I've been doing over and over. [spoiler]I realize that's part of the grind, but a grind doesn't feel grindy if you disguise it as fun.[/spoiler]

Same boat. Logged in for the first time in months for iron banner. The sandbox is still clumsy, slow (weapons kill 30-40% slower than d1) and frustratingly bad compared to the first game. Such a snooze fest. Seriously! Why does all the loot have to be static [i]and[/i] at the same time drops are more common than D1? No rose tinted glasses. D2 is much worse than D1.

I remember settling down for a new IB year 1 or 2 with my beers in front of my PS. Got my favourite weapons out and getting into the crazy, dangerous, fast paced and chaotic PvP. I never got bored of that. Then at the end of it you got a felwinters lie with shot package and hammer forged just to add to the crazy kill fest of fun!

4 RepliesI figured I would just collect weapon parts and try for Antiope, you know focus on a goal, grind and actually get something I want, buuuuuuuut nope, did not happen. Spent 400 weapon parts first, no Antiope, then 500 no Antiope, theeeeen 700+!!!! No Antiope......and all the while it was in his inventory,I got every weapon, some twice......game sucks right now.

Every streamer who was making bank from D2 is now in starving hobo mode trying to make any and all D2 news sound exciting yet failing and they know it! Someone called these parasitic youtubers leeches that were now stuck to a dying corpse and trying desperately to detach themselves from it in order to latch onto some other fat game as it passes through the murky, stagnant swamps of youtube and twitch.....oh no wait that someone was me...
