Hand Cannon... Hand Cannon... FAN FIRING.
Alright alright alright, I think I can make a pretty legit idea outta this...
Tired of your Hand Cannons firing slowly? Wanna just roll right in and fire off ten shots while looking great?
I present to you... Fan Firing Hand Cannons! It’ll force rapid fire and mow down people, but in return you’ll stay on your knee and be forced to fire all the shots with reduced aim assist, and if you don’t fire all of them? It’ll take a moment to get up.
Might be a fun idea. What do you guys think?

Edited by HollowedWayfarer: 3/15/2018 5:38:02 AMI suggest 2 alternatives: 1). Bring back the Last Word Or 2). Just make a Rapid Fire Frame hand cannon archetype that lets players fan-fire the weapon. The having to kneel down and be stationary is honestly not a very good idea. Just give the fan-firing hand cannons high recoils and low range.

1 Replyfastfiring handcannon with hipfire only? yes that was my favorite weapon in d1 until bungie not only fixed its bugs but nerfed the shit out of it so that hardly any shots registered when firing from the hip. they have no idea what theyre doing.

3 RepliesEdited by GalaxySpider: 3/13/2018 5:53:47 PMOk, you basically, what I got from your posts, want an alternative firing mode for handcannons, called fan firing, working on EVERY handcannon and which leaves you vulnerable because as soon as you start it you are slow AF to somehow balance the firepower. Am I getting this right? If yes, then I would welcome it AND: Give Destiny alternative firing modes for all weapon (arche)types (I know, it will never happen). I mean, it is a thing not many shooters do these days. The last one I remember, with really cool ones, was Perfect Dark Zero on Xbox 360.

It is said to be widely regarded as a weapon only a master, or the scrubbiest of scrubs could wield.
