CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS WAS THE ORIGINAL VISION FOR D2!?
So much better than what we got. Literally the dark fantasy everyone has been asking for!

Edit: first ten have not been seen before now, last four are nearly identical to "vision" D2 cutscenes.
Edit 2: first appearance of the pyramid ships (other than d1 concept art) is likely to be the 2013 Alpha Lupi experience. Theres also brief snippets of each destinations original story. The pyramids on the right most side seem to be cloaked in something akin to the Destiny one opening scene mentioning darkness.
Alpha Lupi high quality

5 RepliesThis basically confirms that the pyramid ships will be the main focus of the big dlc coming out in the fall.
-
See how much bs they gave us to steal our preorder money?
-
9 RepliesDoes anyone else but me not renember the d1 promo clip these pyramid ships was supposed 2 be in d1.
-
1 ReplyConfirmed D7 content
-
4 RepliesDestiny concept and the original premise for Destiny 1 that were shown at E3 2012/13 were darker, grittier, bleak cold winter warfare, scarier angrier formidable foe, and carried a more mature themed

I'm used to this franchise wasting great opportunities.

2 RepliesEdited by The Orwell: 3/11/2018 1:24:10 AMYou seem to forget that the triangle ships were in the end of D2 campaign... Maybe we will still get that kind of fantasy. D2 was about the Light and what it meant. Maybe D3 will be about the Darkness and what it means to be without the Light...
-
No offense to who actually did the final cut scenes but those look much better!
-
HOLY SH*T THAT’S GOOD! Seriously this looks like it was pulled straight from the development table.
-
4 RepliesIs the last picture the traveler hovering over a sea of vex milk? Would be nice to get actually back story in a destiny game.
-
That's far too dark and scary for LS and his nieces Where's the pink shaders, balloons and friendgame ?
-
5 RepliesI really wish that destiny would've been as dark as this pics suggest. I feel like they have missed so many marks...

but it's scaaawy

So the Destiny plot is basically Thunderdome for shapes. Hmm, intriguing...
-
1 ReplyI thought I saw those ships somewhere in D2, at the end of the campaign or something
-
4 RepliesCan you believe the ships were first seen in 2013?
but i guess the lore was being folked at the time
2 RepliesEdited by ElBambino: 3/10/2018 12:02:42 AMGreat artwork, but really, how many people are gullible enough to believe that Bungie would manage to; A- give us something as dark and evil as those ships represent in a DLC or B- we don't just succeed at defeating whatever those are with some vague, simplistic and trite "victory". Rather than an enemy we can't just run over and be done with (yes, I'm looking at you Gary the Sith) and really have to deal with because there is no quick fix like Gary.

So much potential wasted such a shame
-
So I took a look at Xur today the gloves in the concept art looks awfully similar to his and also the dark face with bright eyes looks exactly like his face without tentacles.
-
Painful, eh bud? Can you still sit down comfortably slugger, with those expectations and this incompetent developer?
-
3 RepliesArent you on my friends list ?

4 RepliesSweet. Where in the great loving f@ck did this shit go wrong.
-

12 RepliesDestiny artwork, trailers and cutscenes always look stunning. Their marketing team is on top of their game, no doubt about that. They fooled me a couple of times, but no more.
