I swear when I dive into Crucible in a bad time it literally feels like the opponent team made the game itself tilt to their favor. And I can't tell if they are really cheating...or bungie allows too many broken weaponries and abilities in PvP.

Completely agree. Over 90% of players are cheating in PvP in Destiny 2. So many streams and YouTube videos that prove it. They have completely ruined the game for me. Hackers and lag switchers are EVERYWHERE. This is July 2018 and Bungie has done nothing to invoke any kind of anti-cheat code. SAD.

I have had the honest pleasure of playing with some of the best players on Xbox In trials. I can count on 1 hand how many I know are cheating from this pool of players. Honestly there’s more assholes in the decent but not great area. Even ran into a plethora of ten when I played trials. A good way to tell if someone’s cheating is by looking at their match history (sadly with all the quitters who leave to save their kd’s good players look bad) a top tier legit player will have a lot of opponents quit early but whatever team that stays will get destroyed. Cheaters will likely have potatoes on their team if not be entirely comprised of potatoes but still have most of their opponents quit. But hey what do I know, bungie has banned so many people who simply play a lot, complaining about cheaters here is pointless. Report over your platforms moderators not to bungie since they don’t give a shit

It is very strange when there are so many hackers on PS4 and a lot less on PC. But it is smt normal when there is no one from Bulgie actually taking care of the cheaters . You can report and report and report... and nothing will happen. I will give you as example that cheater "Clay_is_clutch". He is actually notorious with his cheating - he even upload videos on youtube cheating... And you know what - he is in the top 100 in the world on Trials... He even do paid carries.... WTF... So be prepared with Warmind the things to go fully to shit. Bungie can't make an update in 3 months and we are hopping to ban cheaters? - it will never happen - especially when there will be leaderboards. The PvP is currently dying - too much toxic players, no dedicated servers... nothing. This game is great example how not to make a videogame.

Can someone explain to me how to snipe people with Main Ingredient across the map? I'm talking farther than Year 1 Destiny fusion rifle range. I've been one-shot at insane and impossible ranges several times only in Trials.

A better argument would b 9 of 10 top tier players don't play Destiny anymore.

competitive game modes should ALWAYS be on dedicated servers pennie pinching p2p hosting is just too easily abused for advantage with bungie you can almost always tell what their choice will be by focusing on the maximum financial gain for them. They'd still be plugging 100% of event rewards into Eververse if it hadn't blown up in their face.

I hear ya, but I don't actually think they're cheating. It's pretty widely known, now, that there is a major "problem" with hit-detection/Aim Assist, in the crucible. And, to me, it seems that the higher the ELO-K/D people have, the more you'll be affected by it, when you play against them. I was playing a Quickplay match against a team that had mostly "Diamond tier ELOs". They were slaughtering us, and I could tell that my shots weren't connecting, so I thought, "Well, I'll just camp the rest of the match, and pick off any stragglers." Good idea, right, since we were gonna lose anyway? So, I go about the map, just crouching in corners, and would start shooting anyone that was preoccupied by my teammates. Well, I watched each shot explode against their HEAD, but only every other hit was detected, and even though I was hitting their HEAD, it was only counting it as body-shots. What do you think happened next? Well, after hitting that guy in the head 7 times, with my Nameless Midnight, and only 3 of my shots actually registering, and only as body shots (His shield didn't even fully deplete)... He proceeds to causally turn around, and fire 4 (that's only F-O-U-R) shots from his Uriel's Gift, which killed me in about 0.25 seconds flat. Now, I don't know about you, but I'm pretty freaking sure that a Uriel's DOES NOT do "50" points of damage per head-shot. Now, admittedly, this does occur with other "lower tier" players. It actually happens every match, but when playing lower tier players, there's almost always a back-and-forth flow throughout the match; where your team will have the advantage for a while, then it'll flip, and the other team will have the advantage for a while. But, I've found that, when playing against "higher tier players", their team will have that hit-detection/Aim Assist advantage, for about 80-90% of the match, leaving your team with about 10-20% of the match, where you're able to shoot them, and your shots will actually connect. Coincidence? I'm thinking NOT. I really think it has less to do with "cheating", than it has to do with something fishy going on, behind the scenes. There are two graphs that I'd be really interested to see... One being, player ELO and K/D -vs- players, where players that stream/YouTube (and those that regularly play with them) are highlighted. The other being, ELO and K/D -vs- Eververse purchases, where players that make regular weekly/monthly purchases are highlighted. I'd like to see those graphs, just purely out of curiosity. Can you go ahead and post those, Bungie?

How come I always go up against Hunters that go completely invisible in Trials? When I use my Hunter I can go semi transparent but never completely invisible. I never see these completely invisible Hunters on patrol, in strikes, in Nightfalls or in raids. I only ever encounter them in Crucible. How are these guys going completely invisible? Is it even possible without cheating? If it's cheating or some kind of exploit, why are Bungie letting them get away with it?

I don't play trials unless I want to have my face kicked in and I don't... Too many no life sweeties compared to the average teams..

I read a post from someone who tested bungies servers and he came back with, to have a perfect set up you needed 120 meg upload speed. Seen as in the uk or best is 20 meg and in America you can get up to 1000 meg then the server is always going to register the kill quicker for best suited internet. In normal crucible I hold a good k/d but trials I drop dead off a single bullet. It will never give a fair game due to internet speeds which is why most people stay well clear of it
