Wait a Second... is Ace a boy or a girl?
I always thought Ace was Cade’s SON, but some people are talking about him as a “she”and “her”.
Was I wrong?
Is Ace a son or daughter?

2 RepliesJust to clear it up for everyone. Cade was human before he became an Exo. He had a wife and a Son who was named Ace. What is interesting about this is he is somehow aware he had a Son named Ace. Now normally this is impossible because for one to die and be resurrected as an Exo you would lose all memory of your human life. The popular theory is Cade found is own journal from his human life. He chooses to incorporate these memories into who he is today. It’s why Cade is so much more animated personality wise. He still has a piece of his humanity and perhaps believes someday he might find his Son. Hence his calling “card” is the Ace.

We should ask the new lead writer what they think. Only the story writers truly know what anything is in this game

Ace can also be a girl's nickname. My girl cousin is mostly known by that name. She plays high school softball and her pitch regularly exceeds 82mph which is unheard of for girls. Just sayin'.

2 RepliesAce's gender was never specified, so it is currently up in the air until such time as new Cayde journals are added or some other new information clarifies this info. Hope this helps

The child named ace that he had in his original life is a boy but if you’re talking about his gun (that I’m pretty sure is called the ace of spades) then you refer to that as a she like you refer to boats as a she
