My partner has D2 on PC whereas I have it on console. What is with the zero stability? I imagine it's popular with the current populace as everything needs to be easy for everyone now, but to me it just feels boring. Not to mention logically unsound seeing as guns naturally have kick to them.
(Mind you, with Luke Smith around, logic is out of the question)
Since some stupid moron decided to try and start one, let me make this VERY clear: KEEP YOU'RE PETTY PLATFORM WARS OUT OF HERE! It is absolutely pathetic. Some people prefer console and some prefer PC; get over it!

While I agree the recoil is stupidly easy to control, finch seems to be at the console equivalent. Maybe the devs are bad at aiming so they made it easier? No idea.
-
Because PC is easy mode, and it always will be.
-
countered by low or no aim assist.
-
PC pleyers r frikin loosers
-
Mouse to aim basically. I remember waaaay back in the day getting my ass handed to me in unreal tournament on PS3, then i read it had mouse and keyboard support, plugged in the mouse and keyboard and what a different story it was after that.
-
2 RepliesProblem solver for Xbox, make a mouse and keyboard option.. I would change to that in a heart beat🤣
-
Because controling recoil is hard with a mouse.... Well that's what bungie said on the matter lmao... I'm not complaining I like games with less recoil and with the type of game destiny is it fits well especially with the TTK, I still don't get why they thought aim assistance would be fine on PC though.
-
Logically, I'm sure thousands of years in the future with the improved technologies and the use of space magic they'd be able to pretty much fully remove kick from guns. Why do people try and shoe horn real world logic into a Sci fi space shooter set so far in the future?
-
Because the game is actually made to be easier to aim on PC.
-
11 RepliesIt’s just because of the mouse, I noticed this too. But it works out. People on PC actually know how to shoot back. They are not trash like everyone on console Destiny 2 was literally made for the PC is seems like. It runs better than any game ever will on console

5 RepliesBecause both consoles controllers cannot compete against mouse and keyboard which has proven in several studies to be a superior option as it allows for precise movements. There's a reason why PlayShiton and Xbone have gone out of their way to ban people using keyboards instead of controllers on their platforms y'know.
-
I never really understood that either. People say and it really can’t be an argument that aim and twitch reflexes aren’t capped as much on pc but aim on guns in the games I’ve seen just don’t recoil. Console being the harder one to aim on should have less recoil but I’m sure there’s some goofy reason as old as I am behind it
-
1 ReplyThis issue is why I wish people playing on consoles would stop listening to the pc playing youtubers' advice on faction weapons.
-
It was a Bungie cash grab. A lot of people double bought because of the no recoil weapons. Greed pure and simple.

4 RepliesYou’d think with advanced tech there wouldn’t be recoil anyway...

5 RepliesEdited by X30nShaun: 3/5/2018 3:53:34 PMBecause mouse and keyboard.. Plus we don’t have aim assist like you guys on console.. Ignorance is a hell of a thing. Most pc games are like this.

Guardian, Archon Of LightArchon Priest Of House Light - old
All that stability , and only 5000 players using it -
1 Replynot 100% sure but i think some employee said they made recoil almost non existent on pc because its easier to control on a controller than on a mouse. #bungielogic

2 RepliesYes guns have kick, it's basic physics, but these newer guns today (IRL) have a whole lot less kick than their predecessors, with porting, braking, built in recoil compensation systems. I would like to think that future weapons would have even less. I have no problem that there's recoil in the game, but some of the weapons have ludicrous amounts where you need to fight it hard to stay on target. IMHO, I'm not sure why PC is so much better, but that should be the case on the console as well.
-
So you aren’t constantly picking up your mouse when trying to control the recoil.
-
Mouse on PC is much easier to control than using controllers on console. If you've ever used a mouse to do work on a computer, then you know how precise it is compared to using your thumb to control a thumb stick.
-
I might pick the game up on pc to test it out when they announce they've decided to give the game away for free for the last two weeks before they shut down the servers sometime in April due to lack of players.
-
It's to do with the mouse game play pc mustard race would moan and not play if it was like console having to pull down all the time to hit something alot of pc games are like this
-
I use a controller on PC and it kicks the same as on XBOX1X

It is some kind of incentive to PC boys
