After the battle with Gal the Traveler broke open and can still be seen in such a state in the sky’s above the tower. It seems to me that someone in the tower would’ve attempted to fly up and see inside the Traveler. I feel as tho a lot of questions could be answered with this act or at least more of the right questions to ask could be found. Right?

Someone from eververse once went inside of it and said it ‘smells like vanilla.’

7 RepliesLOL some snowflake seems to have deleted my post in here. What is said was, because creating the interior of the Traveler would take effort and imagination Bungie can't seem to muster.

Edited by foxburton99: 3/9/2018 3:10:22 PMIt’s possible that there’s no way to pass deeper into the Traveler than what we can see, and that even if we did we might not be able to pass in the true core of the Traveler because it may not have a physical form. It’s actually very likely that the Traveler is at least being studied now, but as is always the case I expect that no one will get any results that make sense Fenchurch Everis claims to have seen the inside of the Traveler, but we all know he’s lying. Fenchurch has done a lot of things in his time as a Guardian, but he also has a knack for making up stories. Don’t take anything he says as true unless you can get physical evidence from Tess Everis (Chroma, for example, was actually some Golden Age remnant Fenchurch found and Tess fixed it up when he showed it to her)

I'm just curious as to why, after 4 years, we still haven't been told what the Traveler is. Is it like the Darkness, and Bungie has no idea what it is?

It's full of radiolarian fluid -- why do you think the Vex are so pissed?

3 RepliesEdited by TeWrecks: 3/5/2018 10:36:45 AMThe lightning clouds inside him looks very similar to when the vex spawn in-game. Also the rocky exterior with a machine-like interior reminds me of the vex-made rocks on Nessus.

The traveler leaked light like crazy even in its dormant state. Light did some weird stuff to humans. Do you have any idea what an overdose of light looks like? It looks like what happened to ghaul is what.

3 RepliesThe Black Garden is the inside of The Traveller. . . . . .

1 ReplyFenchurch, Tess Everis' supplier, has been inside the Traveler. He said it smells like cinnamon, I think.
-
Apparently Tess' uncle has entered it.....guess that's another thing we have to go through Eververse for.

3 RepliesEdited by WhispersofChaos: 3/6/2018 6:30:26 PMAbout the whole “off limits due to belief system” thing l there are those rare guardians who disregarded plenty of common beliefs held by those cookie cutter guardians. Bet Osiris would sell his left nut to look inside the Traveler. This also brings up another question of mine. Why is it that so many guardians are hardwired to be so zealot like in their beliefs when they are essentially forced awake from the peace of death to infinitely die and be reborn in a cosmic war they didn’t ask for. I feel like whole yuuuggggeeee process would’ve driven em all insane.

I think Everis’s supplier, Frenchurch, went in once

3 RepliesEdited by Aegaeon-3: 3/3/2018 12:04:08 PMOh please. No one knows how and why the exos are working, and you are talking about the Traveler. And you know what? I hope Bungie will never tell us. The more I think about current D2 narrative, the more I understand that Bungie wants to be like Blizzard in terms of writing. In case you don't know, Blizzard's poor writing is legendary. And that's where we are heading. So even if Bungie will give us the info about the Traveler, I bet it's gonna be childish and boring. Like 'they went into the traveler and there was cosmic lego and space magic everywhere no one understood anything, the end'.

My guess is because so many people revere the Traveler as a god, going inside it would be comparable to blasphemy or a desecration of it. At least that's my theory.

I really want to know wtf is in there too. It looks like it has structure support. Is it a society? One giant sentient being? Like ID2? It released ghost so it create intelligent AI or beings?

1 ReplySimple answer: The Traveler is full of salt.

If it’s a Dyson sphere which I personally think it is it holds the seven stars shown in the hologram in travelers walk

probably because its more than likely seen as a holy object and is off limits
