I set my messages to "friends only". In three and a half years of playing this game, I only received messages from one idiot on a public event who kept sending messages instead of playing. He died like ten times on that Nessus Vex event, because he kept complaining I wasn't in the circle to turn it heroic. I messaged him after it was over in kind and told him "Don't die so much next time, moron." and he reported me to Xbox. My first and only random communication on Xbox. So I set it to private. The kicker is he was a terrible player. I mean not even average. I've soloed that event by myself with 10 out of 10 left, and he couldn't stay alive by himself in the circle while I kept everything away from the construct. Guess what? I never died, revived him twice before giving up on him, and finished it 10 out of 10. I sent all his previous foul mouthed ramblings to Xbox, but I don't think they did anything.
