Correct, people do spam abuse on all platforms and social media platforms, but that's partly because the operators of the platforms allow them to with relative impunity. Which was what I was saying in the original post. Which shouldn't be tolerated. Which is what saying 'it happens everywhere' as an excuse effectively does.
