        • They totally dropped the ball with the infinte forest, just add decryption keys to vex loot pools and it could be this games court of oryx/archons forge.

        • It's not that Curse of Osiris was a bad expansion... it's that Destiny 2 was such a painfully inferior game. Consider the following... THE DARK BELOW: Three Story missions. One Strike. One Crucible map. No new patrol area. One new character. Walkie talkie Ghost. A relatively short raid that was the best thing added. New loot, some of it good and some not. CURSE OF OSIRIS: Eight story missions. Two strikes. Three Crucible maps. New patrol area, with new public event type. Two new characters, and an existing one (Ikora) was developed. Ghost was fully voiced, by two voice actors no less. A relatively short raid that was the best thing added. New loot, some of it good and some not. Lay TDB and Curse back to back, and Curse is by far the better expansion in terms of content. People hated Curse because Bungie broke their game with D2, and Curse failed to repair it.

          • Basic questions... 1. why did the story with plenoptes (is that his name?) end... and not even remotely link to the raid lair? 2. Why did the trials of Osirus... that we played for Years... featured Osirus’s name... not even rate a mention in the expansion... what were the trials of Osirus for? People say how good the story is in D2... yes, for a 12 Year old kid it’s pretty good... but a lot of gamers are much older than 12 these days

I can't believe they had the balls to have you literally replay story missions and call them strikes. I thought it was pretty bad when rise of iron came out and they advertised 3 new strikes, yet 2 of them were vanilla strikes with new dialogue. I knew Bungie was lazy, but wow!

            • The Dark Below wasn't perfect, but I'm okay with it. I wish CoO didn't exist.

            • What's really crazy is Bungie truly believed it was good.

            • as long as you are equally in awe of how bad The Dark Below and House of Wolves were then I think your opinion is valid. If you are going to try and say COO was worse than those, I'd urge you to take your rose tinted glasses off. The only way I could see any argument being made would be if you LOVED trials.

            • I still believe that Curse of Osiris is superior to The Dark Below no matter what all the haters say. The main problem with Curse of Osiris is most of the content is disposable, you do it once and there is point in ever doing it ever again. The quality of the content isn’t the issue, it’s how much mileage you can get out of it.

              • Personally, I liked CoO. The story was meh. There was some good, but a lot of room for improvement. Osiris was a let down, but the fact that you actually got to fight alongside him...well that's exactly what I've wanted from the campaign. The missions themselves were good. Not great, but good enough to keep me playing without it feeling like a slog. Mercury is simply amazing. It is beautiful, and a very nice patrol area. While I'm okay with the size of the map, it was the lack of lost sectors and hidden secrets that were more of a let down. The public event was nice, and the adventures and patrols were fine. Again, more would have been nice, but I'm okay with the amount given the price of the DLC. The weapons and armour are what really got me. I love the aesthetics of the gear, and there are some pretty good perks on some of the guns. The cosmetics are also pretty great (specifically the shaders and Sagira shell). The strikes are bull shit. Recycled crap. They are the worst in the game, but if I'm honest, they are slowly growing on me. I'd still rather be playing any of the D1 strikes over these two though. I haven't touched the raid layer yet.

It wasn't my favorite expansion. Bad guy is forgettable. Good guys were boring. They never explained why Vex were more of a danger in this one. Whole thing is just an excuse to bring back Osiris. I do like the level design and the new guns, but wish that they had a bigger patrol area. I kind of dislike Mercury patrol. It is my least favorite one. Fact is they don't even let you use a sparrow. The area is big enough for sparrow use.

              • I think it had to do with it being called an Expansion when in actual fact it was nothing more than a DLC. The use of the word Expansion implies a big addition to the game. It's really disguisting that Bungee used the term Expansion rather than DLC when talking about the Deluxe edition paying for Expansion I and II. That suggests it comes with 2 big expansions, not 2 pathetic DLCs. Flat out deception right there.

              • You know its bad when several of you friends in a Destiny clan that already paid for the season pass don't even bother to finish it at all.. or even one character or .. TA DA:. even play it at all.. Yeah.. so much hype for a old fart and a donut map...

              • Just wait, the next one has been finished for at least months if not longer so they can't fix it so I'm guessing it'll be just as bad. The only thing they'll have put effort into is the 50.00 massive one in fall.

              • And so much potential with the Infinite Forest concept... That was some of the worst DLC "content" I've ever seen. Worse even than Mass Effect Andromeda's non-existent campaign DLC. MEA was hot garbage, but at least they took the "if you love me you'll set me free" path post dev. Bungie's overlords have forced them to sit in their own shit for so long they don't notice the stench.
