What’s the best exotic gear for a warlock
I’m using the eye of another world right now but don’t know if it’s the best exotic I could be using

2 RepliesPvP: Transversive Steps for faster sprint speeds and an increase in slide distance. Get your Mobility to 6 to benefit from strafing and higher Glide potential. PvE: I almost always use Voidwalker. Skull of Dire Ahamkara really helps to get your super back the more enemies you drop with Nova Bomb.

Crown of tempest, throw a grenade, pop a rift shoot enemy's in leg and let arcsoul finish them off. Use melee if timer drops to 1 second, rinse n repeat. Really useful in EOW and nf that had the ability recharge. Ophidan aspects pretty good too

They are all cosmetic.

Warlocks only have one good exotic - Ophidian. I switch to Crown for torrent prestige’s and that’s it.

1 ReplyTechnically I'd say Ophidian Aspect because all your reloads are faster. But I like the Transversive Steps to be faster, also the energy reload perk is a nice extra, although I keep forgetting about that. Both are also subclass neutral.

Transversive Steps for PvP. For PvE, I like Eye of Another World with Stormcaller, Skull of Dire Ahamkara for Voidwalker, and Wings of Sacred Dawn or Sunbracers for Dawnblade.

Ophidian Aspect full time for the quick reloads. I changed the mod from whatever it used to be to a resilience mod and I use it on every subclass.

3 RepliesThe devour warlock setup with Nezarac’s Sin and a couple void energy and heavy weapons is dirty if you like chunking grenades and melee’ing everything in sight ;) haven’t played enough warlock to REALLY know past that though. Side question, does the Warlock sword have a hidden perk to drop heavy ammo CONSTANTLY?! I just started using it and soooo much heavy ammo drops!

It depends on a lot of things. For example Sunbracers won't do you any good if you play a Stormcaller.

9 RepliesWhat subclass do you run and how do you play? That's what it's going to come down to. I didn't realize how much fun I'd have jumping in and punching things until I tried Karnstein Armlets. Eye of Another World may be a better fit for you though. I LOVE the helm, but I'm better with the Armlets now. Vesper of Radius would be a good fit for me if I could get past the looks of it. It really does come down to testing every one of the Exotics for a while and finding what is the best 'fit' for you.
