Yesterday was day one without doubles, more than that, day 1 of the return of a Crucible where I can't choose to play a frag count based mode, clash based as it were. I would have thought that playing 136 rounds over the course of the week would have been enough to have me sick of Crucible. Instead I went home, my gaze turned to the Xbone and wave of sadness came over me. It was an empty black box sitting on my entertainment center. I remembered when there was something inside it, like it was yesterday, as it was in fact yesterday. Before the release of D2 I could play clash or elimination when I wanted. Like a fool I thought those choices would never be taken from me and I squandered those special days. Today is day 2. When I go home today the box will still be empty. On Friday my weekly crucible team will assemble for casual laughs and libations. Will I have fun playing stand in the circle and pick up the stuff? For those of you who hate losing to a team of 4 when soloing, show up on Friday, see if you run across us. If you do you'll be pleased, you'll win. Sure we may kill you 5 or 6 to one in total, but you'll win. We are done standing in the circle. We are done picking up the things. We have gone surly and just want to shoot people.
